Unless my work computer is blocking the link, I see nothing there on the right hand side. Just "add to cart", car type, and if I want a sticker...

Hi All, all 50 sets sold out within a week so we are completely out. We hope to make more but we will need some time to get all the parts and materials together. At this time we do not have any ETA. If these do become available we will post updates about them.

Got my 5000k's in today, looks good! They're more of a yellowish-white rather than a blueish-white, but it's very slight. To me they don't seem as prominent in direct sunlight as the 6500k's were, and I'm debating whether I prefer the color of the 6500k's more (had them on previously), but for now I'll see if they grow on me. Looking at BMW's newest cars with the LCI halos, they definitely have a blueish hue to them.
The good news is that the installation went a little faster the second time around |

Lux 5000k installed - very happy!
Installed my 5000k Lux Angel Eye kit. Glad I got in on the short window of availability. For those interested, they are definitely worth the wait for the next run.
Installation was easier than I expected, especially when you follow Lux's instructions of marking the top of the factory bulb based on the three prongs' alignment into the housing, and then compare that with the Lux unit and make a similar marking on it. I was also able to see into the light housing while inserting the Lux "bulb" which helped with installation. I love the look. Definitely not blue, but instead pure white. Looks as it should have come from the factory. Pictures are below. Enjoy! Before: Lux 5000k:

Ok, after living with them for a couple days I can now say I love the 5000k's They match the factory HID's much better, and they are a near-pure white. The headlight housing doesn't have the slight blue tinge from the side like the when the 6500k's were in. I still think they look slightly less bright for whatever reason, but the preferable color difference makes up for it.

I want to buy these 5000ks but it looks like there's none for sale. If anyone has some used ones, I'll buy them. Or, if Lux has some new ones, let me know. I'm ready to buy.

I just installed the standard 6500 version (install sucked for me, maybe my hands are just big). I think they look perfect. They don't look blue to me and match the headlights pretty well. For those waiting for the 5000, maybe just order the 6500. They don't look blue in person.

Another thing that can be done, and something I am researching currently, is to change your actual headlamps to 6500k's. It's a cheaper alternative, in my opinion (if you've already bought some 6500 Lux's like me). I'm just not decided on which D1S bulbs are the best replacements for OEM.
On a completely separate note, and not to highjack, but, does anyone know if the high beam and low beam are the same bulb? |

I put in my 5000 K bulbs today. They look great and I'm glad I purchased them.
Biggest advice is to follow the instructions on LUX website and mark the inserted stock bulb before removing, then mark the LUX bulb and replace in corresponding configuration. |

I think 6500K version is more similar to the new BMW angel eyes you can find on new 5 or x3 series... they all have this bright bluish tint around...
Correct me if i am wrong. |

Given this problem, I'd rather have the 5000k white color so it looks factory than a blue hue that looks obviously aftermarket with the headlights on. The key for me is to not look aftermarket but that isn't everyone's preference. |
