standing 2-mile with 200MPH cars in the "pouring raind northern alberta style" and the photos proved it wasn't raining. Now back to reality. Before running out of gas, AA car was losing decisively. Drag strip: 6-MPH slower trap speed on same track even though he had better weather conditions. 60-130 too shameful for anybody to post results. And my real favorite was MFEST-2012. AA supercharged E93 trapped slower than full bolt on NA car not just once but every time it ran. I was there call me a liar. |

Here is my story. And I apologize to the OP (that's the "origional poster" for those as old as I am )
I ran RTB and as was posted I ran a 159 mph in the 1 mile. Was I happy? Fuck no. Why? Many reasons. One was I was running a race gas tune that was not fully tested. Was it AA's fault? Not in my option. We rushed it and we couldn't dyno it unfortunately. What do we ALL say when we mod? Shit happens. And look at the conditions. It was damn wet. I got my ass handed to me by a built GT3 that killede in my one mile run. God love rear engined cars for off the line launches. Was it all a waste for me? Hell no!! I finished 6th out of ALL cars at RTB for the "time attack" aka: road course. Even with my race tune, I only lost to 3 awd Gallardo's, 1 GT-R, and heavily modded 335i driven by a pro driving instructor. 6th out of 60+ entrants? I'm fycking happy. Again, sorry to the OP, I'm just having a good time To all the ESS and AA funboys, let us keep it on the level. Btw, for all the crap that's gone on in this thread, I still think we all benefit in the long run.

Didn't call you a liar just saying running on wet roads and in rain storms are two different conditions to run in as one limits you and the other doesn't so much .
And as far as the friend comment goes its a figure of speech lol ease up tiger |

I disagree with this comment, my car spins 5th with ease on a slightly damp street. When it's dry out I can hook up in 2nd most of the time. Obviously there are many variables but it will decrease your Et and traps by a large amount regardless if its just wet or a rain storm. Huge difference Imo. I track in Sepang and I can say that if your car is supercharged, you will need larger radiators and oil coolers. M24s will not help...you need something bigger. The only cars that can run continuously in Sepang are the stock M3s and even that, prob not more than 4 laps consecutively. My car will overheat in 1.5 laps and I have the M24 radiators and oil coolers. If I want to track, I will need additional radiators BTW, how much better is engine ice from water wetter? |

uh hmmmm... Hi Everyone. Figured this was a great spot for a shameless plug.. We offer great pricing, service, and install (if needed) on all ESS kits.
btw... we have a little experience with both of these systems.. So PM with any questions or concerns. Best Regards, |
