Love it!
White always looks super clean but a bright silver is probably my absolute favorite and what I'd do for anything short of a white car.

Thanks for the compliments. I was looking for more of a grey color or the exterior color - LeMans Blue. I’ll enjoy it now because it won’t look this good after it leaves the shop. One of the downfalls of white...

Some entertainment... maybe. I was posting my AIM Solo2DL for sale and decided to load a video. It was the first event of 2019 at Road America. For the first time out I was super stoked to drive. I only had three things to do before this session... 1.)refuel 2.)check tire pressure 3.)turn on external mic for Smartycam. I did the first two, but forgot the external mic all day. So, I post this because it is the only footage I have of Road America after doing the half cage, bbk, 2W-MCS, and intake/tune. Performance Eurowerks did all the work and the car was amazing to drive! Right out of the box it was fast. Sorry for the wind noise.
If you're looking for an AIM Solo 2DL... Not sure if the track enthusiasts will be looking in the 'interior' sale thread. https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1732219 Last edited by rTrackM3; 06-21-2020 at 04:19 PM.. |

Thanks Samo! Can't wait to finally drive it... Next week we have a dyno tuning session scheduled with Epic Motorsports and then shakedown will be 8/22 at Mid-Ohio. If the stars line up we will do the NASA GTS4 race at Mid-Ohio the last weekend of August.

Thanks, wish there was sound. That lap is on a very used pirelli pzero slick take off - 285/18 square setup. Pretty fun for $75 per tire, but they only last 1 weekend. I suspect a new hoosier or pirelli could have been 1-2 seconds faster, but $$$$$. I ran a RE71 the session before and was 1.5 seconds slower.

Yeah it looked like you had to hold it inside in carousel and were having to be pretty patient getting back into throttle - life's too short and these cars don't have enough torque to wait to get on the gas get you some Hoosiers!
It's nice the car is so tame even on crap tires. A work-hardened take-off can be every bit as hairy as a street tire even if it's faster The Goodyears might be a nice middle ground on your setup too.
