I just thought I'd chime in.
M3 Sedan arriving sometime mid April. I've already joined the BMW Northern Alberta Club and look forward to enjoying this ride asap!

Give me a month and you'll be getting full exhaust and a tune, one little drive and you'll crack.
Next thing you know you'll be ordering up a stroker. |

Hey 2thdr, I am planning on putting on a set of H&R's, a pulley set up, the performance steering wheel and maybe a few other things. So Karmac is reasonable with there installation prices? I know they are probably better than the dealer. Let me know, thanks.

Do you think you will have any issues with the dealer in regards to warranty with the pulleys? Quote:
I looked at my car once it arrived, and it actually sits much nicer than my e46 M3 did, comparing stock to stock. I am going to wait to see how they look with the new rims before I hand it over to get the Dinan work done. Are you going to Edmonton BMW or Bavaria for the springs? |

I decided to go with the Eibach springs which are less aggressive than the H&R's but a little more aggressive than the Dinan's. I think it is a good compromise. They should look great on the car and it maintains good ride quality from others report.
I went with the AA pulley's. They are the same color as the stock ones so unless they are really looking I am sure it will be fine. I don't see too much reason for issues, AA is a very reputable company. I also ordered the Macht Snchell spacers 15mm and 12mm to give the coupe a more aggressive stance that will fill the wheel wells nicely. The rest of my mods are of the aesthetic variety like color matched side gills (AW) and front reflectors along with Matte black kidneys. I am also looking to do the Performance steering wheel. I talked to Calgary BMW about the rear diff. It is going to be about 4g's but with the 15% off it is going to be 3500 said and done. I think this could be a killer mod and may pull the trigger soon. I also talked to Dinan and they said the software is about a month away and is supposed to be under 1000! Not bad. I am going call Karmac and get them to do my installs on your advice. Thanks. PS I scratched my rocker panel today I am sure that will cost me and I have to get it fixed soon! |

I am gonna get the springs done at Edm BMW. They are close to work and I get my service there. Service dept seems ok, not a fan of the sales dept but that is more their sales philosophy than the people.
Gonna get it done sometime in April. Maybe before I go to Karmac to keep it on the DL Albert, the Eibach is a good choice and they make quality stuff. You'll be really happy with it. I am a 'geer so I geek out on the Dinan stuff. The White paper makes sense and I need a DD car so a big drop is more of a risk. The AA stuff is good. I have the Xpipe going in and their air filter. I considered the pulleys and was talking to Omar@AA the other day so I may do it yet. I am a little concern about underdriving the Alternator when we need it the most, in the winter. |

I just ordered my ///M with Executive Package & M Drive package. I had no real interest in EDC and the 19"s since I'll be using the 18"s for winter anyways. But I do have a few things on order. Camaross305's HID Angel Eyes (6000K), Laser Interceptor Duals, and matte black pieces (grill, fender, rear emblem). KW V3s will be ordered mid summer and Rogue Engineering Diablo Race Exhaust as soon as it's released. Has anyone used Alberta Motorworks before? I'll probably just end up going to Edmonton/Bavaria BMW but since we're bringing up independent shops. It seems like Frank over at Alberta Motorworks has a good following.

I'm sure you'll get a lot of answers... but for me, I have always brought my vehicles to Modern Autobody. Definitely not cheap and the wait to get in is long but the workmanship has always made it worthwhile for me.

Modern Autobody...the same one that Bavaria encourages owners of damaged BMWs to take their cars to.
They painted my CSL bootlid on the e46 M3 and did a great job. I am sure there are others that other board members can chime in on. |
