thanks, also i was just curious, no need to be comparing drews or stickys dyno. I see you were trying to show me comparison i guess. I just was wondering why it ended early...8k seemed way early to stop reading...but now i know why, didnt realize theirs did as well.

We have added the new VT2-650 kit to the website: http://www.esstuning.com/products/E9...er-System.html
The kit will be available in about 3-4 weeks. Last edited by sales@ESSTuning; 05-17-2011 at 09:20 PM.. |

Pulley, tune, manifold? My 2011 has DCT. Is your shop the only one that can do the DCT flash or can IND do it as well? Thanks |

only ESS can do it. I've been trying to get a group of people together around Chicago to go in on DCT software with me. with enough people, Roman might be willing to fly out to flash our cars.

The 625 and 650's with DCT require a DCT flash so that means they all have to go to arizona?

i'm pretty sure IND can facilitate the flash if not do it themselves.

There have been several updates to our E9X M3 supercharger products. One of these updates has been that you can now run the VT2-600 and VT2-625 kits on stock DCT software. We recommend the latest version of software available now from your local dealer if you are still on an older version. As the factory DCT software has improved and we have been able to refine the ECU software we have found the factory DCT software performance has been very reliable on these kits. We have also updated the VT2-600 kit to be available to 91 octane users. We have worked hard to develop software that would allow the car to make very close to the 600 crank rating as we could while maintaining proper safety margin. We have now rated the VT2-600 at 600 HP on 93 octane and 590 HP on 91 octane. Many of the changes we have made are described in the product descriptions on the website. If there is a question that you cannot answer on our site please feel free to contact me direct roman@esstuning.com. |

I have a questions about the K&N filter location.
1. How often it has to be clean? K&N says 50k miles, but at this application filter is so low, and unprotected, so maybe it requires cleaning more often? 2. Is it safe to drive the car in heavy rain? What happen if someone hits big pool of water on the driveway? Is it possible to suck it to the manifolds? 3. Does it make sense to clean it with air gun blower between regular washings? Will that help, or rather the quite opposite thing will happen? And unrelated question. How much will cost to upgrade from VT2-575 to 625, or 650? |
