I just copied your awesome idea of the water/ice tank. Just something more permanent than the Igloo.

Going to the NoFlyZone Arizona event in early October. Will be 100 degrees and usually a bad environment for a supercharged M3. The water/ice tank shouldn't care about the 100 degree heat

When tracking a car there are many components that can determine your lap time. Maximizing speeds in the corners, having the power to get up to speed on a straight, and most importantly, braking for corners, other drivers, or in emergency situations are some of the biggest factors. Since the owner of this M3 loves to take it out on the track, a brake upgrade was necessary. Equipped with an AP Racing brake system, this M3 doesn’t have to worry about brake fade or not being able to stop. Size matters when on the track because of the heat that is disbursed throughout the rotors when applying the brakes. Comparing the AP Racing BBK (Big Brake Kit) to the OEM equipment, the AP Racing BBK front calipers contain 6 pistons and slotted rotors versus the single piston and solid rotor from the factory.
To lose some weight and also increase grip the owner decided on Apex ARC 8 Wheels and Nitto NT01 Tires 275/35/ZR18 Front and Rear. Increasing performance slightly with its AFE Carbon Intake and Vorsteiner Type 1 Exhaust, this M3 for sure gives a good yet responsive exhaust note. Entering the car, the driver is immediately reminded that they are in an M Performance vehicle because of the M Performance Steering Wheel and stitching on the handbrake.

That one is from BMW. Unfortunately that piece is no longer being produced by them.

Year/Make/Model:
E92 M3

Color:
Frozen Grey

Transmission:

Modifications:
Vorsteiner Carbon Fiber Front Splitter
Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser
Carbon Fiber Trunk Spoiler
Frozen Grey Edition Package:
- Fox Red Extended Novillo Leather Interior
- Black Chrome Kidney Grilles
- Side Intake Trim
- Exhaust Tips
- Jet Black Hood Intake Grilles
- Jet Black 19-inch Alloy Wheels

Produced from May 2010 until just July 2010, only 30 Frozen Grey Metallic E92 M3 models were produced. This number does not include the 10 “Frozen Grey Edition” coupes produced for the South Korean market. With the limited number of the Frozen Grey cars, they are certainly a sight to see. The Black and Fox Red Bi-Color Novillo Leather on the interior is a definite twist on the standard single color seats. Included with the purchase of the Frozen Grey M3 are the lightweight 19-inch wheels providing a more dramatic offset, a 0.4-inch drop, reprogrammed electronic dampening, and a higher threshold for stability control. These improvements are bundled with the Premium and Technology Packages.

It is fairly easy to stand out with the Frozen Grey Metallic E92, but why not add a Vorsteiner Carbon Fiber Front Splitter, matching trunk spoiler, and rear diffuser? A carbon fiber 1x1 weave flows perfectly with the Frozen Grey, being noticeable yet not taking attention away from the lines of the car. The Black Chrome Kidney Grilles along with all of the other included black components like the Side Intake Trims and Hood Intake Trims keep the car stealthy and very neutral.

Offered in three different colors, frozen painted E92 M3 Coupes are quite rare, with only 150 Frozen Edition cars built for the US market in 2013. Among the three options, Frozen White is said to be easiest to find, followed by Frozen Blue, and the hardest Frozen Red. Of course the Frozen White is still a rare sight considering the number of E92s out there. Frozen edition cars like this came with a $15,400 premium over the base M3s, which seems pricey, but considering the $5000 paint job, $2500 competition package, EDC and DSC sport mapping, $4350 Premium Package, among other smaller upgrades like gloss black kidney grilles and black exhaust tips, the money is well put in to the car.

As unique as the Frozen Edition E92 M3 is, this Frozen Red Metallic M3 stands out even in a crowd of Frozen Edition models. Lowered on a KW Coilover Sleeve Kit on classic BBS LM wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Tires (Front: 245/30 ZR20 | Rear: 285/25 ZR20), this M3 sits low with a super aggressive stance. Aiding in the aggressiveness is the Carbon Fiber Side Skirts and Vorsteiner Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser. Be wary of this car, its Dinan Intake and IPE Full Exhaust system will have your entire body vibrating!

At the time of its release, BMW purists were more or less opposed to the new M3. Arguments surrounded the fact that the V8 would make the car too heavy. Producing around 350 horsepower to the wheels, the M3 was a more than capable car for the about 1580kg (3483 lbs) curb weight, comparing to the current coupe, (F82 M4) which has a curb weight of about 1497kg (3300 lbs). The F82 has about 425 horsepower however. Lucky for the owner of this M3, we fitted it was an ESS VT2-625 Supercharger system. The VT2-625 adds quite a significant amount of horsepower, rising the roughly 350whp to about 530whp on this car, making a nearly 50% horsepower increase at about 7 PSI. This M3 may give a stock appearance, but quite the opposite is true.
Having a device to display information like boost or oil pressure or various temperatures is essential when having a supercharger in your car. The Awron DGA Guage is the all in one display that does just that. This 20-in-1 gauge is the perfect option for track enthusiasts, supercharged cars or for those just wanting to add some flair and functionality to the M3's interior!
Have a look at the before and after video on our dyno. Be ready to control your speakers because this car screams!
