I'm such a fan of Monte Carlo blue. When I decided to wrap my space grey I was having the hardest time picking which blue I wanted. I ended up going with Atlantis blue. Now that I've been looking at AB every day it makes MCB look so much darker. Still one of my favs

Always interesting to play the numbers game. That would mean that there are 18 MCB in USA and 13 MCB in Canada based on BMW's total e92 production for North America. Of the total of 47 2010 Edition model e92's produced for Canada (0 for USA for whatever reason) I've never been able to find how many of the 47 were produced in MCB compared to black, white and yellow. Obviously, the number would be between 1 and 13. Assuming some of the pre-LCI MCB cars went to the USA, I'm guessing that there are maybe 4 or 5 MCB Edition e92's in Canada. No doubt, this falls under the category of "useless facts".

Hi,
ESS G1 is running and will get its final tune. I think in the next few weeks I can slowly get a feeling for how everything works 😄, how the temperatures behave and how the 15w50 300v will perform. Last edited by smeey_87; 05-05-2023 at 03:56 PM.. |

Yes, the tires were not my first choice, unfortunately there were no others available at the time due to delivery problems.
But I can say that they are not as bad as I thought. Nevertheless, the next set of tires will be something from Continental, Michelin etc. In the meantime there were small changes. - OEM facelift rear lights - OEM carbon front splitter - Alcantara trim strips in the interior. - OEM BMW Performance steering wheel. I haven't had any problems with the supercharger kit so far and it performs as it should. Thanks to the large cooler package (DO88) and small modifications such as increasing the oil level in the DCT. There are no temperature problems in street use In the future I will try a shorter V-belt that I use through the 94 pulley, in the lower gears it sometimes slips slightly. I also keep an eye on the valve covers, they are currently still in good condition, but as soon as I see with the endoscope that the inner coating is peeling off I will get some from NRW or something similar. Stay healthy and have fun on the road (like the Smilie) ![]() |

Small Update – might be interesting for some ESS supercharger drivers.
Sometimes i had a squeaking noise during gear shifts and occasionally during acceleration not often, but it was there. I had already replaced the belt tensioner, but the noise persisted. You can hear the sound here starting at 1:39–1:40. The only thing left to check was the serpentine belt. The included Gates belt has a length of 2220mm. I switched to a 6PK 2115 Contitech belt, and the noise disappeared. From what I can tell, the Gates belt only has one "grippy" side, while the other side is smooth. The Contitech belt, has both sides grippy and is 5mm shorter. I think if you're running the 94mm pulley, you can go straight for the Contitech belt. The Gates belt might work fine with the "stock" 98mm pulley. Used the test drive for a quick photo shoot with an F10 M5 Competition. ![]() Have Fun |

Over the past few months, quite a few updates have been made once again.
New suspension components from Milway have been installed, along with a new wheel set, Recaro Sportster CS seats from AMX Performance, the Teutscher Clubsport roll bar, and a safety net from Stern Performance. In addition, several smaller optimizations and refinements have been carried out. I also have no idea how to properly upload photos here when they exceed the size limit. I've already reduced them from their original resolution, but if they're still too large, I'm sorry about that. |
