Yes you did very well, and thank you for saying that the run they showed for 1/4 wasn't the one that counted.
His initially victory may have givin him a false sense of security and of course that he weighed all of 90 pounds wet gave him a little more speed. |

Now that we are aware of the issue, why don't we try and discuss types of prevention methods, if there are any. If anything, I think having a clear window film on the inside of the sunroof would help with the glass not shattering all into the inside of your car while driving. This is my biggest concern, given that glass in the eyes is the last thing I'd want happening while driving 70mph on the highway. Also, maybe film on both the top and bottom will add more strength to the glass, acting as a barrier for it.
I think we've exhausted the topic of the problem at hand. Shouldn't we be figuring out a solution to this not happening in the future? Anyone else have any ideas?

Tinting on both sides of the windshield may help, or clearbra-ing it. The visor shield locked into place, not allowing me to open it, after it exploded luckily. So very little glass got in the interior. However, I do have glass in the roof panels of my car that rattle occasionally and used to make noise when I turned lol.

Congrats on the win and a pat on the back for taking the criticism well. Glad the car does not look like that anymore.
