So traction control off>set to S6>brake to stop vehicle>shift lever forward until flag indicator appears>throttle to the floor>release shift lever>hold on
Is that right? I read BMWs instructions and they're too damn convoluted to experiment with. |

You can't just floor the accelerator - you have to floor it and push past a little "click" (or detent that people are calling it) AND keep that button down during the launch. If you lift off the little "click" at any time, that turns off LC and essentially you're just flooring it DSC. You'll go sideways in no time! I highly NOT recommend using LC if you haven't gotten this down. You can easily high the guy next to you! |

Why are you guys turning off DSC? Sorry I'm just a 6MT n00b. M drive is supposed to be the best setting for wheel spin vs launch. I turn DSC of and smoke them through 1st and 2nd, fucking pointless.

As far as I know, you can't LC unless it's off...

Yeah - it's called your feet. Learn how to use 'em.

I've only launched mine once, but thought it performed quite well.

No brake. Braking disengages LC. So you need to be fast or on a semi-flat surface.

I'm not sure if this has been brought up but according to the manual, the car has to be driven for 6 miles straight before LC works. Maybe the people having the issue with it not working, this might be the issue but just throwing it out there. I have yet to try it, kinda of scare, lol
