2009 E92 - IB new to me
I purchased this beauty two months ago! I really wanted a manual but good luck finding them. 30K with 39K miles. Not sure if that is good or bad but i am happy. Just finished putting test pipes, braided steel brake lines and hawk pad on. Suspension and 275 square tires coming next. When this thing hits 100k (or i get bored and want a new daily) it will become a dedicated track car.

Picked her up in Nov last Year with 40k miles and few very nice upgrades. Keeping it OEM +... Here is a Progress/Build thread. https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1790451 Last edited by Msidhu1; 04-12-2021 at 12:04 PM.. |

Got the 10yr old PPF off the car this weekend. The car is intact underneath as it rolled off the showroom brand new. I did not buff/wax anything at this time. No rock chips, scratch/swirls on the paint, headlights. I was amazed. Full front PPF did its job, well done! a couple of cut marks around some edges, think from the time when PPF was put on
I will get the surface ready in couple of week before putting new set off PPF. |

Mine old PPF faded and gave a satin look which I did not mind. The headlights definitely were turning yellowish. One thing I would mention that if the old PPF cracks then it is definitely going to mess up the paint underneath. I did not want to wait further and end up with that. Thank god everything turned out well in the end. |

Sad to report that I sold mine today. Going to a gentleman in Thomasville, NC. I do not believe he is a forum member. Someday I will buy a IB E90 DCT! Until then best to you all.

F82 to E92
Had a E92 for 3 years then sold it for a F82. Still have the F82 and it's a blast but a part of me always missed the E92. Picked up this 2012 Interlagos Blue that was bone stock it's whole life and well optioned. First impressions are this car is a lot smoother and balanced than a M4. Both cars are special in their own ways I wouldn't say one is better than the other.

Is the OP still here? If not, is there a way to continue this log?

Tim!!! I am so glad you are here! Hope to see my once precious gem from to time. Here is the last picture I have with it that my wife took when I pulled out of the garage on the pick up day.
