Its just I am not that convinced that the difference is that great on a full bolt on, normally aspirated S65 M3. We have been waiting for months for such a test and have yet to have it.

If you are not familiar with the bimmerworld test here it is.

I do appreciate you being a vendor on here and never want to give the impression otherwise.

Well Dave maybe you're the guy to do it. PM me a phone number and I'll call you to set up sending a set to test. All I ask is that a retune is done to accommodate the change. Mike at BPM can help you with that I'm sure. Post your results here if you like. I'm in if you are.

If Dave's not interested, I'd be willing to step up to do this. I've got access to a dyno, but no tuners in my area that I'm aware of, so it'd have to be done remotely.

Guys, Gains of 22HP on a boosted car, considering there's slight boost loss with our headers, is a ton of power. It's patently false to think that an NA combination won't have appreciable gains.

For what it's worth, regretfully I've learned months ago that nothing I post here won't be trashed by someone who knows nothing about our headers. Unless an independent party does it, nothing I say will be taken seriously. I welcome any ARH equipped customer to post their results.

Nick
Nick, I'm NA and would love to give this a shot to give an objective point of view. Feel free to contact me privately and we can put this to rest. I did multiple evaluations with my 335d (check E90Post) over the course of my time with the car, and became a very reliable source of information for all mods related to the d at the time.

I know me. I won't make the trip. I am still looking forward to visiting ACM, VAC and another facility near Edison, NJ so as much as I would like to see your layout, it is unlikely that I would make your tour anytime soon.

Also, I am not shopping for headers but I am sitting on the sideline hoping and rooting for new products to arrive that will keep the e9x platform in the game. That includes your headers. When it is time for me to part with money I want results to match my expectations.

So e may know this about more popular option of headers on s85 engine cars since cats are built in headers but headers really deepen the sound and gets rid of the screaming higher pitch sound due to shorty super thin walled oem headers. So even if a few hp is to be had, the sound isn't necessarily deurable

Fair enough but when it's time to part with your money, as I stated earlier, your satisfaction is guaranteed. I aim to please and my doors are always open to you or anyone that would like to see what it takes to design and manufacture high quality headers systems.

8600, we just installed a system on the OP M3 and it had Borla Extreme mufflers. I haven't heard anything one earth scream louder and I'm sure the OP can attest to that. The pitch was extremely high and raspy. The headers do elevate the sound but do very little to change the pitch of the tone. The X-Pipe and mufflers handle 95% of that.
The OP, that loves his car loud, had us remove the Borla's temporarily and reinstall the stock muffler, it was that obnoxious and we agree.
Installing the ARH mufflers would cut down on the rasp considerably and deepen the tone. It also has no drone at cruising speeds as aggressive as it is under moderate to hard acceleration.

Good to hear. On v10 s85 platform headers totally degrade the sound which is sad as the cats are within the headers and therefore they don't have the benefit of doing an easy decat xpipe like we do with the s65

Nick, thank you for your kind offer. Unfortunately I am not in a position where I can spend the money even for an install at the moment. Otherwise I would be all over your offer.

Hopefully Merlin would pick up your offer. Things could change for me in a month or so, but right now I can't swing it.
