He's paid good money for this car just like I have because you have to mortgage your house to own an /// car outside the NA. It's that expensive. So what he's saying is if we are paying that kind of money we need an equal aftersales support and acknowledgement from BMW, which point blank have been refused.

We all have an opinion and have the right to voice it. That's the best part about having forums like this.

In short. Maybe...would be interesting to do a comparison of the wear on the stock bearings and the replaced bearings after another 30k miles.

Ultimately...I can afford $2k-$3k for a preventative change. I can't afford $25k for a new engine.

No what I was saying is that if you switch to a thinner oil and it blows up 3 months later it was going to let go no matter changing the oil or not. There are plenty of us on here that have been running thinner oil for longer than some cars run on the stock oil before they blow up.
