I have the same magnaflow too and love it, you can usually get a used one on ebay or cragislist. I wanted a valid warranty so I got it here. Magnaflow 36420. Also some of the forum sponsors selling magnaflow exhaust usually have a sale going on. Either way its a great cat, sounds great, and very easy to install.

Arqray, Amuse, Fabspeed, Fame Freiheit & Encore Innovation product details/links have been updated.
Fame now also has a mid-section. Fujitsubo exhaust has been updated with video and manufacturer link. I e-mailed Rogue for an update on the Diablo system a week ago, no response. Thanks, I had been meaning to link to that thread - definitely a great video. Last edited by Griz; 11-28-2009 at 12:41 PM.. |

Andy - You may as well have asked which is the best religion. There is no best exhaust answer. Tell us what you definitely want and what you definitely do not want in terms of sound, drone, cost, etc. and we can help you narrow your choices down. Every exhaust is a compromise somewhere whether it be price, sound, appearance, etc. The first question I would ask is what is your budget?

4-5K will work nicely. Now on to sound/volume .... Do you care how loud it is? Worried about drone?

+1 - The Akrapovic full system seems to be highly praised if you have the $$$. Good performance, sound, quality, fit, finish, looks, everything.
The Dinan full system also very nice. Quality with no drone and moderate sound volume. The Gintani full system produces great power but it is LOUD with the normal exhaust and still not exactly mellow with the sport exhaust. There are other options out there but the (3) above are solid recommendations. Keep in mind all will require a tune to get rid of the CEL (check engine light) if you remove the cats like these full systems do. The tune will cost you about another $1K. Also a 'full' system is from the headers back. You can also just do a x-pipe back system (cat-back as some call it). Hope this helps.
