I missed it somehow. Got the email now -thanks! I am in, but not sure for how many days until the dates are finalized - I'll be splitting my time between Toronto and SF probably till mid-summer and move completely june-july.

But the baby is awesome, thanks for asking. It's definitely high-maintenance, but surprisingly a lot of fun. It's like having a ridiculously smart pet that learns new tricks on her own every day, looks like you, and copies things you do just in a very funny way (my wife would kill me for this comparison ). I know many people who only take care of their babies but do not find time to actually play with them, and I think it's the biggest mistake ever - doing all the hard stuff and missing out on the fun part. |

thats hilarious! youre lucky to be able to move to SF!! no more winter ice, snow and salt. lol... not to mention this means being able to track and enjoy sunny weather year-round. so youre going to be shipping your M3 down to the states ? or will you sell the car in canada and buy something else when you get down there ?

Just an FYI for those who contacted me about the CMP days. I've heard back from Jane, and she's getting the registration numbers ready. I will begin emailing payment instructions to everyone tomorrow!
Looking forward to seeing you all at Calabogie this year!!! |

It was really good with lots of cars & decent weather. This year they are running 2 groups which are a street group & race car group for sub 1.35 lap time cars. There were quite a few GT3 Cup ,Nascar Canadian Tire & a couple of very fast GT1 Suburus. The track upgrades with removal of the concrete patchs has given more grip and the repaving of corner 10 is much better and has changed the line a bit.The new runoffs are not noticed from in the car but if needed they should be a big help
I was instructing in a C6 Grand Sport and had a great day with him as he showed steady improvement from a driver who had only done 1 track day ever and by the by the end of the day he was running sub 1.40 laps safely. For interest we were seeing 142 MPH going into corner 8.All in all a great day with some great people as is the norm for EA days. |

The only place where the line is different as it is a lot smoother is corner 10 where I think a later apex will be better than was used before. From what I saw yesterday the track will be faster with the new asphalt patches having a lot more grip than concrete ones had.How long it stays that way,who knows. The few people that I asked about times yesterday said they were going faster than last year.
