BTW could you calculate what my 11.29, 2.06% incline run would be on a flat surface at sea level in Car Test? Does temperature, BP, and altitude affect the theoretical times in CT? Appreciate it, your insight here has been quite good.
OK, to get a time of 11.29s this is what I put into CarTest:

Altitude - 461ft
Roadgrade - 2.06%
Tailwind - 25mph
Power - 470HP @ 8300
Torque - 330lbft @ 3900

As you can tell, according to CarTest your time of 11.29s is pretty good for that road grade, given I had to put in a tail wind of 25mph. Without the tail wind CarTest reckons your time would be 12.32s - big difference.

Now using the same parameters but putting in a road grade of 0%, CarTest reckons your time would be 10.54s and on a road grade of 0% and sea level it would be 10.36s...

Do you have a larger graph of this test with larger scale longitudinal acceleration (your original has lateral acceleration which is not useful for this analysis)?

Do you know if the VideoBox can interface via CAN to the M3 OBD port?

GIAC is heavily involved in the Porsche market. There's a supercharged R8 hanging out there also.

I need to get a couple of things fixed before I can post a time. My DSC failure is really screwing my performance.

Good luck with that Bro.

So it seems up to this point that a bolt on DCT is very close or possibly a tad faster than a RS46 Stroker 6MT 60-130mph, just goes to show you how incredible the DCT transmission really is. I wonder how a RS46 Stroker DCT would do 60-130, love to see those results!

You should really give PG another shot at it. I think in a 6MT it really takes some good practice to strike a awesome time. But your right a stoker M-DCT will be pretty crazy for sure.

I think he can beat my time with good shifting, etc. hence the reason I said "up to this point"! Major props to PG, he went out and did it, posted times regardless, most wouldn't, agreed Bro the shifting takes a lot of practice! But I do think the graphs, demonstrate how much of an advantage DCT can be.
