Nice setup! I wish my wife was the same way about cars and modding. I have to hide every mod I do and hope she doesn't notice. The supercharger was the hardest to hide especially with it being bright red and all.

Congrats on your car, and I applaud you for the DIYs.
I've done a few very simple things on my ride and wouldn't have it any other way. There's a time and a place to use the dealerships. And none of them are the same. I still cringe when I have to pay ~$270 for an oil change in between the intervals. 15000 miles is just obscene for scheduled oil & filter changes. Oh btw, I think it's time for you to open up shop. I'm sure a lot of people can use your help.

[QUOTE=j2m;13464208] I did some research, studying and searching and found the DIY section of bimmerpost. After a few hours of research the job took me about 8 minutes. At this point I realized that the dealer had EFFED ME UP THE ASS and that pissed me off .
Yea the dealer is a pro at that, Mercedes tried to charge me $450 for oil change, filter, visual overlook and tire rotation. I did it myself for $150. Nice looking car and +1 for the wife.

This is one of my favorite cars on the forum, j2m. Everything looks great, love the manifold. The fact that you did it all yourself makes it that much sweeter. Anything else planned? You're about out of options....

I have already started the next round. - I switched the boot lid back to stock and added a carbon spoiler - Installed IND Custom Stitched e-brake handle and boots this past weekend - Brembo GTR's - I need to wait to install until I can mount my summers - BBS FI's - I need to get the tires mounted and wait for the snow to clear - Just ordered Gintani Race valved exhaust ... and a few other suprises Thanks man! I appreciate it! My wife bought me a lift for Christmas because I had 2 close calls last year, almost dropped the car on myself But the lift make it a lot easier. I'll be pulling for you to get a garage

Just wanted to chime in here to say that your ride was largely responsible for convincing me to order my new E92 in Space Grey metallic. Your ride is simply gorgeous...
