Too much. Almost $4K, but they work great, and I had the tire and rim insurance from purchase so I figure it is worth it.

The PAS are good, but I really love the shots that some members post with their DSLRs. Did you get a Canon, Nikon or Sony? Any time you want to test it out let me know as I would love to get some pointers on one. Do you have any pics taken with it yet?

I went with the Nikon D90 with the 18-200 lens - love it so far. I have played with the Canon XSi as well and it is also a great camera. The D90 just seemed more comfortable in my hands. I will probably add a wide angle lens in the near future. I have taken some pics (unfortunately none of the M3 yet) here in South Beach, and can share if your interested. Anytime you want to give the D90 a try you are more than welcome, especially if you want some hi-res pics of your E93. Let me know. |

Thanks for the offer - I will take you up on it sometime when the weather is better. If you post the Miami pics on flickr or something I would be interested in seeing the link if you want to PM me.

Black E90 M3 @ Third Line
Spotted a black (I think JzB) E90 M3 going SB on Third Line at the QEW in Oakville @ 2:30 this afternoon. I had just got my Starbucks (of course) and was at the light at QEW and third line when it passed me. Didn't get a good enough look to see if the lights at the back were 08 or 09, but I think it was an 08. Anyone here?

Also spotted a black E90 M3 (2008, not sure if it was Jet or Jerez) northbound on Don Mills just north of Eglinton today around 4:30... running a skinny non-staggered winter setup but didn't get a good look at the rims. Only my 2nd E90 M3 spotted so far!

Lamborgini as a winter beater?
I always see Lambos and Ferrari's downtown in the summer, but I saw this on my way into work this morning - Red Lamborgini with dark tinted windows. Man I hope he gets it home to a garage before the snow comes tonight.
Must be tough to have this as your winter beater. Sorry about the bad BB quality pic.

That red tinted lambo belongs to one of the big ticket sellers at Air Canada Centre I think.... must be a good business!
PS. Yes - am driving my M3 today too - E92 is way better than E46 in my opinion... partly much better traction control (doesn't just fully cut the power)

I am driving mine today. No problems at all coming in from Oakville early this morning (100 km/hr the entire way) but I will admit I had both hands on the wheel the entire time. I am actually surpised at how well the winter tire package works.

Yes it had black wheels and a very dark tint. I actually pulled up beside him (I assume it was not a her) at York and Adelaide and it looked like he had some pretty decent tread on the tires - I was a little surprised but was trying not to stare too much.

I'm driving my car this winter.
Drove it on Tuesday night during the snowfall and last night as well, when the roads were quite icy. Car held up well with the winters, but given that it is rear wheel, it can get tricky at times and spin out a little. What I hate is seeing all these trailers drive by at 120+km/hr. I mean one little patch of black ice and we're in for some serious damage. |

I don't know if the wheels I saw were either of those wheels...and whoever was driving this M3, looked over and saw me. So I guess it wasn't you, coz you would remember seeing me...
