Half the price of a brand new TA with better parts and a lifetime warranty! I said sign me up!

I think it took me about 2-3 hours. I took plenty of breaks (daddy duty). Hardest part was trying to figure out how to undo some of the clips lol
Same here, some of the connectors seemed initially impossible to disconnect!

if it's like the e46 gauge cluster, it isn't hard at all
just a matter of unscrewing
i've taken apart the e46 gauge cluster to put a gauge face overlay .. and then put it back to stock

I was trying to understand why I switch those up subconsciously.... probably because it's usually in the shop after something does BREAK.

I just got back from SEMA 3AM last night. I had to move the M3 out to bring the wifes crosstrek into the garage to swap to the rugged off road winter set of tires I put on her car because we apparently are getting snow Tuesday.

I left sunny and 70 Vegas weather for 30 degree PA crap.

^ From where? Pics? I’m looking for alcantara boots.

I wanted to mix up the steering wheel stripe color (from OE M Perf blue) and read Grip Addict’s thread about gaffers tape. Perfect! Right width and texture, looks OEM other than covering the stitching on the bottom. Went red to match the brakes.

Received my red caps, starting with the Winter wheels and we'll see about the 359s Spring time. Yeah, 270 rims are not BBS but don't care as I want that red dot on white!

Derek, thanks for the tip! (https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1463598)

Picked up a mint set of IND ones from a forum member for an exceptional price. They aren't Alcantara, they are re-stiched OEM though.

^ Yup, thanks. Kind of funny how most knocked the idea and I was reluctant given how cheap it seemed ... but dang if it doesn’t work well! I redid it yesterday to make it perfect. It takes a few tries to get it exactly right but it’s so cheap and easy, and looks original.

Went for a romp yesterday, took a few pictures.

Finally drove it to work after a week in the garage while I was away at SEMA.

Work, then gas station, then home.

Threshold braked after redlining at legal speeds because I recognized the ugly trapezoid on top. This genius thinks he's patrolling to save the city at 1 am in the morning..
Why can't we have little fun when nobody else is around?

The hardest one for me was the actual connector on the TA. I wanted to break the car after I got it off
