Trash may have been a little aggressive of a description, but its not great. May have warped after sitting in the garage all summer. I'll take some pics later today. I don't think it's being sold anymore on ebay so you're in the clear haha.

Muffler delete with Meghan Racing tips. Came with the car. I added resonators which helped but still some solid drone in low-rpm range but man does is sound spectacular when you open up.
Still deciding if I want to keep it this way or go with something more practical. I will be replacing the tips - they're currently a black single-wall finish with the green/purple hue depending on the lighting. Don't love the look and will be swapping out for these:

Sauna weekend on the country side with the lads, while the girl was lurking outside.

Installed German Auto Solution monoballs - Pretty casual install, worst part was removing / reinstalling the felt liner. Promptly ordered Deansbimmer's replacement!

Took about 2 hours from jacking up to dropping it back down. Spent extra time cleaning/polishing the thrust arms and honing any scratches out before installing the monoballs. As you can see they're a bit scuffed from removing the OEM bushings.

The provided instructions and rental press tool made this a breeze. Highly encourage anyone considering monoballs to check out the GAS options!

Sta-Bil. I keep it on a trickle charger over the winter. If there's no plug outlet near where you store the car, then disconnect it.

Thanks. It's by Sparco. It has an extremely soft microfiber lining inside and a zippered access by the driver's door in case you need to get in to the car while it's stored.

She finally got a hand wash with some extra love after a week of rain

Took out the chrome side gills and wrapped the chrome in a matte black sample I had lying around and the LED light in a semi transparent black. It appears the e90 m3 side gill is A LOT harder to get out than the e92/93 variant.

I mostly used plastic pry tools and just yanking it with rubber gloves on. Passenger side the whole thing came out. Driver side just the gill and a I broke a tab, but still seems solid. Since the passenger side came out with everything attached, getting gill out of the black plastic piece that the tabs snap into was also a huge pain. I used a heat gun to help get the tabs out and even had to file a nub down so I could get one out. Snaps back in solid.

For wrapping I didn't know what I was doing so I test wrapped one with a black metallic vinyl first to see if I could do it. I didn't have extra of the matte black so I had to get it right the first time. The black metallic wrap looked okay so I went ahead and did both sides in matte black, which matches the matte black grills I have up front.






Heat gun and file.

I thought the E92 gill was crazy hard to pull out. Tried for an hour with tape, pliers, screwdriver, plastic pry tools ... gave up and took it the body shop (who did it for free, apparently I'm a good customer).

Looks great! I did mine with about a square foot of wrap I had laying around.

The tape method worked very well for me..... Maxi-Flex ultimate gloves are great too
