wow $25-39?? that's it?
I remember paying $115+ for the e46 window regulators from online BMW parts depts
but i guess that was before Amazon's time

on my e46 sedan, i replaced 5 window regulators ... all 4 windows + 1 more time on one of them
if the e90 is basically the same, i'm not worried about it

Went to recon a couple areas after class for fall season photoshoots. It just finished storming and I attempted to capture the cool evening sky on the way home.

I was told in another post (the "Macht Schnell wheel spacer reference thread") that 15F / 12R wouldn't result in rubbing, but on our E93 M3's, the 15mm definitely did rub on the front. I ended up going with 12.5mm on the front and 10mm on the rear and its now perfect.

Full inch in the middle and half on the sides.

Use an X-Acto knife to trim the sides, I wouldn't be too worried about cutting the clear coat on the bottom.

If you reapply -

Soak the whole seam with goo-gone, then use floss or fishing tape underneath, and scrape everything off both surfaces with a plastic razor blade

blade

Clean the car with dawn dish soap, then use rubbing alcohol to get any oil or adhesive residue off.

Apply the 3m tape to the spoiler, then get it lined up on the trunk, and use blue painters tape to position the spoiler on the trunk and make Sharpie reference lines on the trunk and spoiler to get positioning right. Rubbing alcohol to get the sharpie off

flip the spoiler forward and peel back the backing (_difficult_), then flip it back while pulling back on the tape and guide based on the sharpie lines. Press down firmly then allow a few hours to cure / bond.

I've done it a couple times and I found that if I applied the tape onto the banking or curved part of the spoiler, it caused rubbing and uneven fitment.

It's been good to "filmed on a closed course in Mexico" speeds

Having pushed the liner forward by hand a little it seems fine now but remains to be seen if the airflow through at speed pops it back out again.

Took it out for likely the last drive of the season. Gave her a bath, filled up the tank and preparing to put her away God, I am so going to miss this car.

Took it out bug smashing at lunch on the back roads. First time on these tires.
Got lucky traffic. Didn't get stuck behind anyone, everyone moved out of my way, no cops. Made it back in time for my meeting.

MDM does cut power and gets awkward on the bumpy parts of these roads though which is too bad. Checked tire pressure hours later and was surprised how warm they were, I guess a lot of heat is held in the engine/brakes for a while.
