Yeah, mine also stalled in Kentucky for a couple days but they finally called me after 3 days. Guess it depends on who is working on any given day as to what kind of service you receive from UPS. Don't worry, the big red box will make you happy once it arrives!

That's weird mine arrived within 5 days of it shipping. Didn't have to provide any info to UPS.

Was there a group buy on this or something. Seems everyone picked one of these up recently.

Read the thread my dude. Harrop is stopping production for US market.

Mike was able to secure a last run batch kind of deal, so many of us jumped on and pulled the trigger.

I talked with Mike yesterday briefly. There are none left. I think like 10 or 11 of us got in on the final buy.

^This. I got the next to last allocation. It sucks that they had to stop making them for the US, but they are not the first nor will they be that last company that has been run off due to EPA restrictions and certification issues. I am just happy that parts and service will continue even if sales will not.

I just bought this set up from Fuel-It

https://www.fuel-it.com/fi-650hp-bmw...-lpfp-upgrade/

I ordered the 4psi Hobbs switch to kick on the second pump on boost.

Will report back after it's installed....
How you get on with this mate?

I'm keen to pull the trigger on this kit also,

Hey everyone. Thank you to all that participated in the last batch. We have received overwhelmingly positive feedback.

I am currently in discussions about bringing this kit back to life due to the huge amount of recent interest. Those that are seriously interested, please send us a message with your name, location, VIN and we will place you on a waiting list. Hopefully we can make more happen. Thanks!

I got it all back together this morning and onto the road - and promptly shredded my accessory belt. Looks like I ran the deflection pulley in too far and it was rubbing the water pump pulley. Thankfully I had another belt and got all that sorted out and back on the road.

A couple questions for the Harrop group (I've emailed Mike but sometimes other DIYers have run into it):

1. I'm getting a battery discharge warning, suggesting the new amps to run the intercooler pump are too much. Thinking I need to replace the battery, which may be original to 2012. Anyone run into this?

2. I can tell a difference in the pull of the car but it's not overwhelming power as others have described. I'm using a Gatorback drive belt as others suggested and there's no sign of slip. I wonder if my bypass valve is open inappropriately. Has anyone stepped through this issue?

3. My aFE air box didn't connect to the Harrop so I"m back on my factory air box. It's a little beat up. I know some run with other aftermarket intakes, at least one poster in the past mentioned aFE without specifying the model. What intake are you using?

Thanks all!
1) replace the battery - if you're receiving this warning and you don't have a draw, the battery is done. This can cause limp mode on start and various other issues. The intercooler pump would not cause excessive drain - I can leave my ignition on for 15 minutes more than once and receive no such warning. Make sure to register the battery after replacement.

2) hook up a boost gauge to the 1/8" NPT fitting and let me know what the boost is. Did the car start on the first shot after install or had to be jumped/boosted? It's a pretty overwhelming difference over stock, so unless traction control is kicking in, there may be an installation issue. The kit comes with the belt, and parts used should be the parts supplied.

3) You should run the stock air box.

If you could communicate any issues directly with us so we can help you resolve them directly that would be appreciated. This is not a support thread - more of a product information thread. Thanks!

If its the original battery, don't even think about it, just replace it. I spent months trying to trace what I thought was a parasitic draw, but in reality the original battery was done. I finally got a current clamp only to discover there was no parasitic draw at all. It suddenly clicked and I immediately checked the date code on the battery. It was the original- 10 years old at that point.

This doesn't make any sense to me. It's like a 50lb net gain.

If adding 50lbs is causing you to rub, especially with that undertray, you were already well past any comfortable margin between the driveway and car.

Those sound like my words- and there is something I would like to follow up on. I made those statements in the spring, having installed the kit the previous November.

Now that we are well into summer, I am finding much more traction in the car. I think the warmer air is both helping the tires, and the increased IATs are reducing power a bit, causing better traction.

What skid plates are any of the Harrop owners here running?

I need to replace my OEM one, and figured might as well upgrade, but I've read that some skid plates like Turner Motorsport's don't fit due the location of the Harrop supercharger intercooler.

I'm running the Turner plate but couldn't use the included support beams due to the cooler lines. Just reused the wire ones from the stock undertray.
