I was actually surprised how easy it is to get my daughter in and out of the back seat of my E92, its really not bad at all! My wife did put some weird girly car seat cover on tho, gotta change that up Ive seen car seats in the back of 911's before, lol.

It's not easy to get in or out of the E92, so its hard for me to imagine how it will be possible for me to get a car seat out without waking a sleeping baby.... |

She is 15 months now. It was more difficult when she was in the infant seat, but still doable (we had one with the base pod that just clicks in so its not like you are messing with straps inside the car). When she was big enough to use a forward facing baby/toddler seat it became really easy almost to the point where its about the same as putting her in the suv. But rear facing in a style that doesn't snap in and out would really suck!

I'm not going to make it!
It freaking sucks! and even after I tried so hard to get in AFTER the registration ended. Stupid court hearing!!!!! If I miss the hearing I'm screwed.......it would cost me multiple Mfest trips if I missed it. It just had to fall on the 20th....

How much do you save by going straight to barstow instead of going to west LA caravan?
Is west LA caravan that much farther out of the way where it will make a big difference? I wonder If I should do this same strategy? I don't mind paying for the gas not worrying about that but If I can sleep in a little more then I might consider it

it's not that it's OUT OF THE WAY... it's just that when i see the other M's driving fast, it makes me want to drive fast. that will make me get around 13-15mpg vs the 20mpg i get if i'm just cruising haha. that's my major worry.
