I'm wrapping the engine side of my airbox in heat reflective adhesive wrap. Glad I decided to do this because my filter was dirty as hell. Clean as could be on the inside though!
Cleaned it with some leftover K&N filter cleaner/oil and washed some crap out of the box.

Also took a quick pic of the trumpets (to make sure they are there).

I've always wondered about that foil stuff in places where it can get heat soaked. Does anyone know if external air passes over the motor? Where does the hot air that passes through the coolers go? Is it passed under the car? I know zero about the aero on the E92M.
