But traction and putting the power down is not an issue in the M3 in winter? I understand that you can take off slow, but then why drive the M3 in snow, get a winter beater.

So clearance is NOT an issue then? I appreciate the hyperbole, but trying to get a grasp on the capability of the car, and awd wouldn't seem to help if you cant even clear the snow, no?

I've had both, the M wins IMHO.
My review is old, so some comparisons may be out of date at this point. However, for what its worth: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showpos...98&postcount=7 I think my opinion has changed with more time in the M. Also, I've become a fan of the track since then. I think I like the M more and more every day. The sound puts a smile on my face every time I start the car. The S5 motor seemed lethargic and lazy even at start up. |
