Went out on track yesterday (blackhawk farms in northern illinois), very happy with how the brakes performed. no overheating issues, consistent pedal feel throughout the day. a+ would buy again.

also we're at 7 committed now, almost there!

they look sweet! thanks for the early look

Any pics of them behind wheels?
Installation notes, aside from the outboard bracket position?

didn't get any with the car in frame for reference, was just getting bedding in pics . those are Apex ARC-8 18x10s. Plenty of room with the 370s i got, but 378s should fit just fine too...

re: install, the only other thing is that it took me a second to figure out which caliper is which side because they include directions for both front mount and rear mount calipers (meaning is the caliper at the 3 oclock position or the 9 oclock). for us, you want the largest of the 3 pistons at the top (it'll make more sense when you have them in hand), and the bleed screws at the top (obv). but overall the instructions were great so i figured it out pretty quick. install really is simple plug and play.

Thanks for all the helpful updates, including the track day right after install. Great to get all this feedback. N = 8 right now according to the group buy page, so we're getting very close!

Fingers crossed!

On a related note, I see in your install you do not have the dust shields. Did you remove those for this kit to fit or for some other reason?

I did pull them because the instructions said they may not fit and may require bending. But I think they would have, had I put the bracket on the correct side. By the time I figured it out, I had already taken it off and decided that I prefer them gone for cooling reasons.

I just shot them a note clarifying next steps, but the original info was that they would tee up a custom order with a per-person link.

Fyi, they are offering group buy discount for the rears as well. I decided to go for both front and rear.

First shout out to kolosy for organizing this!

I ordered a pair of 378s for front and 355s for rear and looking forward to try them out soon!

It seems 370s are fitting pretty well on kolosy 's ARC-8s but based on the templates, I think I might need at least 10-15mm spacers to fit fit 378s on my ARC-8 anyone has tried them yet?

How does everyone like their BBK? I'm thinking of going this route.

iirc the group buy said it would be a month after close that they'd ship, which is around now. i'm thinking most people haven't gotten theirs yet.

i did promise a follow up review to someone who dm'd me -- i've had it now for 4 track days, including 2 at road america which is a fast track with some serious brake zones. overall i'm very happy. stopping power has been very consistent, with no real difference between beginning and end of day. temp strips haven't gone over the second dot (so no more than 143C/290F). I do have a soft pedal issue that I'm chasing, but that was there before I installed the BBK and I've got a few leads on that.

One thing I'll say is to be very diligent in your bedding of the rotors and pads. I did it on the street the way I always do, but these are so much thicker and run so much cooler than stock that i didn't get it up a high enough temp. As a result I hot spotted a rotor and it took a bit to clear the deposits off.

I sent them an email asking for updates. They said for my kit they're currently manufacturing the two piece rotors. In the initial email from them, they said they would ship them out early to mid October. In the most recent correspondence I got from them, they said closer to end of October which is a little disappointing but it is what it is.

I got mine and installed them a week or two ago. Process was straightforward, though yeah the bracket needs to be outside. However, I believe the arm was actually flipped from this configuration (the pieces sticking out should be facing inward):

First track day with them with the R5 pads last week at BW. No sub-2 this go around, but the brakes did great in 90+* weather, compared to the fade I was experiencing on DS2500's on stock brakes over the summer.

Overall, happy with the purchase! Curious to see how many days these pads will last, or what I'll do for replacements given they fit the AP shape.
