It's awesome. Today I had my E92 (oem cf) and E90 (slonik) roof out and about, I prefer the 'large weave/twill' of the slonik roof for sure

Also, a more general question, has anyone found out if cutting out the OEM roof and gluing on an aftermarket one jeopardizes the structural integrity at all? That is my biggest worry. Just trying to think of everything before going through with this procedure. |

Slonik should stop doing group buys altogether, because it is there that the issues crop up. The CF roof is more rigid than the oem one. The structural brace remains from the metal roof, but the metal roof, once removed, is like a sheet of paper. It feels solid when it's welded in but that's it. |

What's the best way to get into contact with him? I wasn't able to find a way to purchase the roof via his website, and I'm not as proficient in Russian as I'd like to be. |

Awesome mod bro. Like many here, I too been wanting to this. This has been on my to do list for a while now. Seeing this makes me wanting it even more. So, the manufacture allowed you to custom order one to your specs? I love the bigger grids on the cf. More of a splash! Coincidentally I was just in CT yesterday. If had seen your thread, I'd begged you to let me see your car. Congrats on a great mod man!

It's been over a year, the roof still looks brand new. It's a no regret mod even now that the e90 is retired from track duty |

I work on my cars but otherwise have a job completely unrelated to cars! You should take it to the people who did mine, what a fantastic job! They're the only people who work on my car when I can't! |

Fantastic modification, bravo! If the "people" are the ones who did your roof replacement, could you please share their contact details? Many thanks in advance.
