Reviving thread as I'm trying to figure out wider wheel fitments - it seems 18x11" are workable but do we have to do some work on the chassis to get it to fit? I'm thinking about doing 295/30R18 A052s with an 18x11" square setup.

Can be done, if it's a street car please don't don't it.

What is it that needs to be done aside from the standard practice of raising the spring perch and going with at least 3 degrees of camber in the front?

I think 18x11 et25-27 is going to work for a 295/30/18 up front or square.
I'm still trying to figure out what offset on an 18x11 is going to work in the rear... Anyone have any suggestions??

I feel like for the rear it would need to be around ET30-35. Any less and it'll stick out too far and rub on the fender under compression.

Apex has the 18x11 et44 that seems to be a direct fit for the rear. I've also seen et30 work on the rear. It's the front that I'm curious about.

With appropriate spacers it will work. 10-15mm spacer on the rear and 20mm spacer on the front with the ET44's all around should work.

Forgot to put in my post for a 315
I think the 33 is the way to go (have 295/35/18 on et44 with a 12mm spacer currently) but I have these et25 wheels sitting around and no use for them it seems like lol
I am about to buy tires and have a lot of test-fitting to do it seems like.

You’ve seen my car with this setup, except I had 295 Hoosiers on it at Chuck instead of Yokos which fit easier. It will rub the front fender liner slightly. The rear just depends on how low you are and where your bumpstops are at. I ran et25 all around with a 3 or 5mm spacer up front to keep the wheel off the shock body. Lots of camber makes it easy... and the Yokos need all the camber anyways, so this works out well.

That's going to be tough.. Fender clearance is going to be an issue with a tire that big with the lower offset wheel.

I'm on a 18x10 ET35 with a 15mm spacer, with a 295/30. I got plenty of room to go inward but I have no room to go further out, at least at my ride height. If you go high(higher) in the rear maybe you could get the 315's to work?

For those of you competing, be mindful of the rules about tire poke. You could get DQ'd pretty easily in tech if someone decides to crouch down and look.

This is 18x10.5 et25 up front with 295 A052, on KW CS. I think you'll need et20 with the 11" wheel. But, then the rear tire will probably hit the fender with that offset

For 295 square, you can run 18x11 et25 with a small (5mm) spacer up front, depending on the tire.

For max width in the rear, on a 11' wheel you'd want et 32-33.

18x11 et 25 fits a 295/35 perfectly in the rear of E90. Needs 2 degrees of camber but that's standard on track car.

E90 has more rear clearance don't they? Plus she wants to put 315's on them, and on an E92.

I think 315's on an 11 can work, just need to get the offset just right.

Yeah good point about rear accepting more on e90. Should be close enough plus or minus 15mm.

Was just responding since I thought op asked if 295/30 could fit with that a 18x11 et25 and I personally run 295/35 on that so I know it will fit on e90. Will slightly rub on stock fender e92 (no rolled fender)

Totally agree 315s can (and have in the past) work. Just not for the faint of heart and needs to be someone with proper kinematics and alignment expertise.

In my humble opinion, I really don't see anyone really needing a 315 in the rear. Ive tracked supercharged e92s with less tire and it was fine with a 295. Even the schirmer guys run 295 rear

When we're talking about a 305 tire, is it safe to assume we're talking about a Pirelli DH 305/645/18?

If so, I have a brand new set of Pirelli DH 305/645/18 mounted on 10.5" Titan-7 T-R10 rims. I think the fitment is very good on the 10.5" rim since the Pirelli 305 runs a bit narrow.

I've taken a couple pix to show the sidewall as best I can. There's no pinch/tuck going on here.

Now, the 300/650/18 Yokohama is a different matter. That thing is huge---like 1" wider than the Pirelli. I run it on the 10.5" but it's not an ideal fit. The rim should be wider.

Isn't berns running 315 RT660 on 11" rear, e92? Not sure on the offset for e88 or whether RT runs wide/narrow relative to field.

I think he did run it in the rear. Hopefully he can chime in here.

Yes I run the same Pirelli DH size on a 18x10.5 BBS RIA 25 offset square set.
Use a 10mm spacer upfront but don't really need to. -4.1 camber.
The rear, no spacer is needed and running a -2 camber.
Zero rubbing and grip is unreal!!!

Now for my other setup, it's not squared.
18x10 et16.5 and 18x11 et16.5 BBS E88
275 tire upfront with 10mm spacer and 295 rear tire with 5mm spacer (to clear giant PFC caliper) ZERO RUBBING on compression.

I raised the front collar's and I DO NOT need to run any spacers upfront FYI.

Yeah, I'm running the Falken RT660 in 315/30 out back on an 11" wheel.
I'm not sure if offset changes with wheel width, but I don't think it does...

My starting offset on the 18x10" was +19, but I added an inch to the inner barrel, kept the center and lip the same, so I believe it's 18x11 +19. I did have some rubbing on the highest inner part of the fender well, but since added a 3mm spacer and all seems good back there. Rear camber is -2.5.
Two track days and no rubbing outside.

Your offset changed. If you started with 18x10 et19 and swapped to a 1 inch wider barrel, your new spec is 18x11 et32
