Looks great! You guys did your R&D! Thanks for posting up all the dyno info, most never provide much data with their products, so that is really nice to see.
I will be waiting for more vids..... but from the ones posted already, it sounds great. Good job! BTW, I am still loving my evolve tune! You guys rock!

Excellent work Sal, as expected. Also - glad to see that you guys are testing the prototype on the "Rolls-Royce" of Dynos - Maha.
Really excited to get our hands on the finalized system. |

What a well thought out and executed product! Sal and Evolve are raising the standards for testing and transparency. I have VERY rarely (Audi, Subaru, BMW) seen any tuner/manufacturer post this much information on a system they designed and released. Not to mention that a lot of the data is beneficial to the community, regardless of the Evolve exhaust. It's just a great contribution and product.
I'd love to see the same thing done on the intake side : ) Making me think twice about my fabspeed+akra setup...jerks! : P Sal - FYI, picking up an X5 35d this month. Will hit you guys up once broken in for a tune : ) |

Can the valves be open or closed while driving at any speed? Would you guys be able to make a x-pipe that has HFC primary, secondary cat delete w/ resonators that doesn't throw CEL similar to the Fabspeed & AA ones for the people that worry about passing emission tests?

We don't delete only the secondary CATS because it makes no difference to power. This we have pressure tested and dyno power tested. Primary CAT removal and emissions - no issue with a tune. We can do tunes which only deal with the CEL and nothing else if you want. |

You mean this one:
Better one coming next week. The microphone is a bit close to the tail pipes. The depth of the loud setting is not captured. Making videos and representing the product is hard work! With the systems going out to USA in February we should get loads of videos. |

These "known to fail" aftermarket cutout valves, also have a lifetime warranty! That in itself provides basically no confidence in this essentially the same type of valve. Again, I suspect there is a very good reason others, including another aftermarket BMW product and Ferrari use pneumatics. In no way am I trying to disparage your valve selection or your product. This is clearly a very weak spot for other products. A lifetime warranty on something that has to be replaced, say once a year, would be a really big hassle. Cheers.

The valves used by manufacturers also fail and Fail a bit too hence why you can buy repair kits. Plenty are sold.
If you look at the images the valves on our system can be removed with the exhaust on the car in less than 10 mins both sides. We have purposefully designed the system so that servicing is very very easy. We also keep valves in stock so if there is a failure you get a set next day. If the valves fail once a year they won't be used.... These valves are used by manufacturers 'inside' the silencers and they have been holding up for years. Quote:

Do you mean the pneumatic valves also fail and are available are separate replacement parts? You also mean the particular valve you have selected has been used in a 100% non-serviceable location, inside of an exhaust canister? If so, was this done in an aftermarket exhaust or by an OEM? Did Evolve or your valve supplier already conduct a full year of thermal cycle testing? Last but not least is your system more or less a straight pipe with the valves open? Cheers.

Yes, OEM pneumatic valves also fail. And yes, the same valves have been placed inside mufflers where they are not servicable by some very highly respected aftermarket companies who also produce for OEM. The supplier has been offering these valves for many years. Our system is not a straight pipe with the valves open. That's ear bleedingly loud. If you look carefully at the design you can see that the quiet path with the valves open is still operational to some extent but then starts playing the role of a kind of Helmoltz chamber. All sections have perforation on them in different sizes and shapes. |

Prices:
Rear Exhaust with Valves and Contoller with either tail pipe design - $3500 (Includes connecting pipes to mate to stock X-Pipe) X Pipe with 200CPi High Flow CAT's + Resonators - $2750 Full System - $6000 An X Pipe without resonators is also available and a CATLESS also. Many options in this area. Our valve system will fit any of the X Pipes on the market which mates to a stock rear silencer. I hope the prices seem reasonable. Given the competing products we are offering quite alot for the money when you consider valves, the highest quality tail pipes, proper engineering, high flow CAT's and resonators in the X Pipe. |

$6000 for a full valve controlled exhaust system is very competitive pricing!! Thank you for providing another great product, Evolve.
For people who may think it's a lot, it sure is a big chunk of change. But, take a look at pricing of some of the other stainless steel mufflers with connecting pipes and you'll see that Evolve is offering a lot for it's money. To be more fair, comparing Evolve's full E-Tronic Exhaust to the two other more popular valve-controlled exhaust manufacturers, you'll see that Evolve's is the cheapest and most importantly, doesn't lose power! There is no doubt in mind that if I was in the market for an exhaust for the E90 M3 and could afford it, this would be the one I want!

That's no problem.
Here's a comparison of prices for you: Active Autowerke Rear Exhaust - $2800 Active Autowerke Full exhaust with CATS - $5000 Eisenmann rear section only - $3400 inc connecting pipes Akrapovic Evo - $5500 Supersprint full system with CATS and TUV approved (very very high quality)- $7000 That's the fixed systems. Now, the valve systems: Innotech which loses power on the quiet setting was selling for over $6000 Kreissieg CAT Back - $8726 Meisterschaft CAT Back - $3800 Our prices: Evolve CAT Back - $3500 Evolve X Pipe with CATS - $2750 Suddenly.... for what your getting and the amount of engineering going into this it's actually not that much is it! Show us one exhaust company that has done this much tested and development. Which valve exhaust retains power on both settings? Which exhaust has the provision for adjustable tail pipes and removable valves? We aren't even talking about the quality yet and it's manufactured in Europe.
