Correct. It will be perfect for your e93. The only scenario in which I would keep the amp is if I bought a daily driver x3 or x5 that had hi-fi. But hopefully I have that sorted out soon.

Car was dropped off at my detailer today for a hand wash. I am also having the ceramic coating reapplied to the small area that was painted so that everything has a uniform gloss, shine and protection against staining, uv fading, bugs etc.

Prefer to sell the car as is with x pipe included. But I’ll yank it off pretty soon if the car does not sell. I’m heading to Carmax today for an appraisal.

Update and new pics- Move quickly if interested
I just picked the car up from ceramic coating on the affected panel ($325) and hand wash. I’m probably crazy for spending more money on a car I am selling, but I believe that the ceramic coating should be uniform. I took the car to three dealers today including Carmax for trade in appraisal. The offer amounts were surprisingly high! With the tax credit on a trade in state of MD and selling x pipe and amp I will do very well trading this car in. Not looking to move on price any further based on the trade offers received. I’ve dropped the prices around $1,250-$1,500 depending on setup. I'll just trade in and be done with it.
Absolute lowest firm price I will go private sale based on what I learned today: $39,750 with x pipe, amp, kidney grilles, and side gills removed back to stock $41,250 x pipe, kidney grilles, side gills included $41,500 x pipe, amp, kidney grilles, and side gills included (as is) Verbatim Comments from dealers: "The car is immaculate. I can't believe it's 5 years old." "The color combo and options are extremely desireable." "The condition is exceptional." NEW PICS BELOW TAKEN TODAY! I doubt he's going to say but just ask someone that has a manheim app and check what they are selling for. That's what carmax uses for their appraisal value.

Carfax was middle of the road. I’ve since received three higher bids. I’ll be going to another BMW dealer today. Two independent Bmw dealers also came back with higher counter offers.

Hey Jdub486, I'm curious what are you moving onto? A newer M3 or M4? Staying with BMW's? The E92 is such a reliable car as you can attest to.

I’m moving to a 2018 m2 lci. Dct. The e92 m3 is a brilliant car. Every Bmw lover should own a s65 or s85 car once. The m2 handles better and feels lighter and more nimble. The m2 won’t sound as good or have the same throttle response, but it will be torquier in daily driving and arguably more fun with the short wheelbase. But my m3 has a nicer interior, especially the leather.

I’ve owned a 1999 328i, a 2001 330ci, a 2007 335i, and a 2009 335i prior to the m3. The m3 has been the most reliable. But, mine is also very low mileage. I need to move this car soon. I’m dropping the prices another $500 all around from the above.

I get it and I'm a real buyer, but your a bit overpriced. You have nice clean M3. I bought a 13 M3 from a great guy on this forum a couple years ago. I flew up to Conn and drove it home to Florida. I'm looking for a nice M3 for a weekend/track car. Yours is exactly what I'm looking for, but I'm going to finance whatever car I buy and banks won't loan money over what a used car is worth - some might but I won't do it. Nice car man, but I will have to keep looking.

I think most banks will be fine with the pricing, especially if bought closer to the stock set-up, although I don't work in auto finance. I'm only priced 9% over KBB private party if returned to stock.
An ideal buyer for me is someone who would have a full clear bra applied to an m3, along with a ceramic coating. And also someone who would run the BPM tune and the catless x-pipe to maximize the power and sound output of the car. For this person, my car is priced very well. Sure, there are a few priced cheaper, although there is only 1 within 500 miles of DC in this color combo and it's priced wayyy higher than mine. But if you were to get a clear bra, correction, ceramic coating, x pipe, and tune, you would be tacking on another $5,000. Someone will value this. I know I would if I were in the market again. |

I am located in Germantown and work in Rockville. If your car is in as prestine shape as you say I will offer you $37k cash with mods. That is what your car is valued at to me. Reason for this offer is although MD requires a front plate it takes away from the look of the car. I will have the bracket removed, properly repaired and clear bra, coating applied. If you are not offended by my price and will consider $37k cash as is with mods we can schedule a time for me to come look at it?

Unfortunately I can’t do 37k with mods at this time. I would net more with a part out and trade in tax credit. |

You won’t need the ceramic coating if you clear bra it. Also, you could consider bumper plugs color matched space gray. Pretty good results I have seen them on local cars. Would only run about $10. I was also bummed when I bought the car that it had a plate mount. You can bet my m2 won’t!

Yeah when I just got my E92 I was so happy it didn't have the plate holes. GA doesn't require a front plate so it would have been a bummer. |

There is no ceramic coating below or above the surface of PPF on my front bumper. The ceramic coating is on the parts of the car that are not covered with XPEL ppf- the roof, trunk, doors, rear quarters, rockers, etc are all ceramic coated.
You can put the coating on top of ppf but I have been told that xpel could deny warranty in the future if they found a coating on a warranty issue on the film. www.bumperplugs.com $28 for color matched plugs to fill the drill holes. They look very good, I have seen them in person on a local car in space gray metallic. |

I searched cars.com and autotrader this evening. There are currently ZERO space gray/ fox red combo e92 m3 in model year 2012 or 2013 available NATIONWIDE, whether DCT or manual.
Forgetting about color combos, here are the prices of all 2012 e92 m3 of similar spec to mine. None of them appear to have any mods. Yet everyone says my price is crazy. 2012 E92 M3 ZCP DCT@ BMW dealer 30k miles, $40,000 price 2012 E92 M3 ZCP DCT@ Non BMW Dealer, 48k miles, $37,000 price 2012 E92 M3 ZCP DCT @ BMW Dealer, 39k miles, $42,000 price 2012 E92 M3 ZCP DCT @ Private Seller, 41k miles, $43,000 price |

REAL TALK!
You really need to drop the price a lot more. List the car for $38k without mods and negotiate to lowest $37.5k so a forum member can take care of your beautiful car, instead of it selling at Carmax to go to auction. Even if it trade it in it might end up in the auction anyway. As nice as your car is if you were going to get the price you think it?s worth you would have gotten it already. Oh and what cars are listed for on cars.com etc doesn’t mean that’s what it’s going to sell for. And the fact that they are still listed there prob means it’s listed too high. Since you have an allocation already for the M2 you?re not in a position of power to hold the car. And judging by your responses you really want this car sold fast. Therefore, you really only have three choices. 1. Keep the car, and that?s probably not an option. 2. Try to get the price you think it?s worth which more than likely will mean time will run out and you?ll end up trading it in for at best $35k. I suspect even less. (Carmax?s offer which I?m also guessing was $33.5k-$34k is only good for 5 or 7 days. And if you go back after that time they give you less.) 3. List the car here for $38k and let someone pick it up quick. It will prob sell in a couple days. I would be all over this but my plans have changed and now I?ve set my eyes on an M4 instead. Oh and Im sure you already know but the only way you get the tax savings is if you trade it into the same dealer that you?re buying the M2 for. Only you know if that?s true or not. And that means their trade in offer has to be a good one other wise you don?t save that much in taxes. $1800 maybe? Think about what I said. Or not it?s up to you. Good luck!
