in fayetteville, not many m3's down this way, i've seen three. this is svt cobra territory, certainly no lack of testosterone. i'd like to come to a couple of gatherings so i will subscribe to this thread. i'm looking for an opportunity to hear the full akra evo setup and interested in the directions other enthusiasts have taken their cars.

I've seen a couple, only one modded. Most are stock and driven by older gentlemen.

Looking for good detailers in the Raleigh area as well. Does everyone in the Raleigh area just take care of their Ms themselves? I'm finding it difficult to deal with all the bug splats after driving at night on the highway.

Also, saw a black E90 on sunday with a bike on top while I was riding with a group in N. Raleigh. I pointed it out to the guy next to me who said that bikes shouldn't belong on Ms and has been giving me a hard time for wanting to get my bike up on my E90. So, whoever it was... thanks for backing me up on this contentious issue.

One a MR M3, no apparent mods. The other was a ZCP AW M3, again no apparent mods. Anyone on here?

Also saw a M6 in the parking lot of the Soldier Support Center on post a couple weeks ago. Hot damn...

the melbourne red one was probably me, zcp with 359 rims, moonroof. i believe i have the only one in town. don't get out towards the blvd very often though

Ive only seen one, a lightly modded AW with 220s

The MR one I saw driving out of the south side PX area by the Riley gate. Maybe it was you!

The AW one I saw by the Soldier Support Center. And yea, it had 220 rims.

Maybe you'll see me driving mine around. Mine is AW with the CF roof, tinted, ZCP rims, a CF performance spoiler with the top painted AW, a VRS type II diffuser. Also have a few other small exterior mods. Soon I'll have my Gintani exhaust, so it'll be hard to miss me, haha...

i have a stock aw e92 with 220s and tint.

Anyone in the raleigh area have aftermarket exhausts? I am about to make a purchase on an m3 and the first mod I plan to do is an exhaust. I have heard tons of videos but it would be nice to hear a few in person.

i've got an akra slip on with carbon tips that should be here this week. i've also got a molded vorsteiner 2 diffuser painted melbourne which will be here this week as well

I live near nc state so I am not to far from you. I would definitely be interested in hearing that exhaust.

nice! i dont make it down to fayetteville often but if you ever come to raleigh area let me know. I would love to hear the akra to see if the sound is worth the money.

When I had my M3's I always switched to a "winter" tire. If I did not switch I ran the BEST all season tire I could get in the sizes I wanted.

You can't run in dress shoes, better to be prepared...
