I'm still debating. We'll see. If I do sign up, I'll go on Saturday. There's a Buttonwillow event on the same day though.

Sorry, been busy. I'll have to see if I can. I'm 100% sure I can do it for myself, just dunno if I can do it for everyone.
I do need a head count though, I can't just arbitrarily reserve rooms. |

well... what would the price be vs other things in the area?
I'm 90% in (unless something unexpected comes up, I see no reason I won't be going) and I'll most likely be a +1 as well

When I get a chance I'll ask how much it'll be. Just been busy with work and my M3 being broken.

Pretty much, the sensor for the secondary ABS pump or whatever you call it broke when brake fluid got on it and corroded the sensor. The car was therefore detecting an ABS failure and kept throwing the car into limp mode randomly. My two friends, both BMW certified technicians, say that either brake fluid got on it when fluid was put in, or some fluid leaked out from tracking, and leaked downwards. Either way, the sensor is directly below the reservoir, and is apparently quite easy to break if you get fluid on it. I plan to run a towel on the brake and power steering reservoirs from now on. Currently just waiting on parts to arrive at the dealership. |

What BBK? I don't understand. My signature clearly states that that's one of the items that I don't currently have in my possession.
From everything that I've heard so far, it's covered under warranty. I mean, it was a sensor/pump failure, not a piston/caliper/rotor failure. Last edited by LateBraking; 06-01-2011 at 05:06 PM.. |
