The ECU is flashed by APR and I can control the programs from my iPhone. I can switch from stock to 91 octane to 93 octane and valet mode.....all with an app!!! How cool is that???!!! Quote:

It is highly likely it's more cost effective to pay someone to work on these exotic cars rather than spend the time away from whatever line of work he/she is in to actually pay for the nice items...my time and earning potential is greater than the cost of basic maintenance on my car, or to mow grass, etc. Doesn't mean I can't work on my car though, or mow my yard, etc...quite the contrary... |

Well I believe he's a doctor and given the time spent working long hours and on-call, I don't see a need for this awesome garage that is nicely decked out to be full of tools. After all, with that kind of salary it just doesn't make financial sense to invest in lots of tools, assuming minimal maintenance just to keep the car at optimal performance.

Love this thread. Not posting my garage because half of my single car garage was previously a room painted in some ungodly colors and it's tiny

'Haters gon hate!' Considering you can only see half of his garage, what make you assume the back wall isn't lined with tool chests/cabinets? And why must someone be mechanically inclined to drive a nice car/have a 'real' garage?

garage floor could use a new coating but im too lazy.
M shares the garage with my 1971 Z, wifey's GLK sleeps outside Amazing to see how fat and bloated cars have become these days...and the M isn't even that fat compared to other modern day cars.

Tools are in the cabinets and I have plenty of them. I do all my own wheels swaps, some fluid changes (when I have time), most of my cosmetic/body work, have installed suspensions, spark plugs, BBKs, have done a supercharger install, installed a Nitrous system, and done plenty of audio/electronic stuff. I pulled the intake manifold on my old Audi RS4 to clean the intake tracts and valves...and a few other things that I can't quite think of right now. I like both function AND form.
