Man, you must be very frustrated hanging out there. It seems to me that a large number of the threads on this forum are "teasers" from various vendors introducing carbon fiber thingies that will be available soon, or the latest wheel soon to arrive from another new company in Miami.

It just makes it look like you want everyone to know that you know whats going to happen and no one else does. it makes no sense. You could at least just give some direction to what is expected.

I think the OP is well intentioned, but I doubt he fully understand the complexities of BMW's marketing and product distribution channels. (hint, hint)

If BMW built a V12 twin-turbo M3 with a gazillion HP in Europe...it wouldn't matter to me one bit. That's because I live in the United States.

Yes, in Europe. I could have sworn it was 333 in SAE horses, or was that the S54?

Euro-spec M3 S54 engine was 343 HP...later revised to 338 DIN HP The difference was primarily due to the location of the catalytic converters. The US-spec cars had the cats in the headers, while the Euro-spec M3's cat were located in the section 1 mid-pipe. (less restrictive)

It seems all the new members are the ones having problems with this thread, Savage has been here long before most of any m3 owners or post members, and his posts were accurate and very informative, is it me, or m3 post has lost most of the people that really contributed to the forum, they no longer post here, some do but in my opinion we have lost a lot of very informative pieces from swamp, lucid, epacy, PG, Savage, South, footie, and I think it's because of the members acting childish and out of place comments, trust me if Savage opened this thread, it's because there WILL be a big announcement from BMW

Excuse my ignorance, but what's the reasoning for BMW not bringing any past CSL (future one too?) to the US? to keep it rare? low production? European's hate Americans ?
