Bummer, but I am getting sweeet 19's so I'll use the 18's for winter tires and that will save me some $$ |

Okay, should have the car next week.
So is there any place in town that has Octane higher than 91 besides Husky/Mohawk? Not sure on theirs, lots of alcohol. |

I do not think so. Most recommend Esso's premium gas.

Sparkyg. I have tried them all but have not found much difference between Shell, Petro C or Esso's premium gas.
The only place that I have found that has higher octane gas is at Mohalk but may be boosted by ethonol. I don't know what effect this would have on our engines. |

I know in Calgary there is a Sunoco that sells high octane gas but I think we are SOL unless we get a barrel of race gas. Thx all. I'll stick with the Shell Vpower and give the Esso a try, there is a new one a couple blocks from home. |

Well here she is. Amazing piece of work that DCT is, a lot of fun to drive and lightening quick. I would like to thank Calgary BMW. Awesome dealership. Service that could not nearly be touched by our Edmonton dealers. No one here in Edmonton was even close in terms of price either, guess they don't really value repeat customers. I would recommend anyone from around here give them a call if you are in the market for a new bimmer. Ask for Grant Y, he was phenomenal finally giving some hope to the word "customer relations" in the auto industry. The difference was night and day between here and Calgary, I won't say much more than that as to avoid offending anyone but you can PM me if you want details. Hope you like the picks!

New Sheriff in Town
Hey Albert!! Congrats looks great
Another day at Calgary BMW another M3. I spend the day there today. Awesome sales staff, awesome service staff, awesome parts staff. I cannot say enough good things about how well I was treated. Here is my new ride. Loved the drive home. The engine is such a dream, great torque, great throttle response and fun to drive. i feel so much more connected to the car with the 6MT. Some pics at home. I gotta get the reflectors off but didn't get a chance at the dealership. |

If I do any upgrades it will be on the minor side. Intake, exhaust, wheels tires and maybe some suspension. The stroker is cool but this is a DD car so I want to make sure I take it easy on the drivetrain load. Now if this was my weekend car like someone I knew... I gotta thank you for your recommendations on the EDC. It is remarkable how civilized the car is in comfort mode. The GF much prefers the ride to my 335xi. I do too. It just doesn't beat you up on our roads. Even with 40 series winter rubber. Let's get together on the weekend. PM me for Sat or Sunday and I can make a run out to your neck of the woods if you want. |

Figured I should bump this old thread up. I am not from Edmonton but am from Fort McMurray. I am taking delivery of my Moonstone/Fox Ext/Piano E90 M3 in May. I am totally open to making the drive to E-Town to attend some meets.
Keep me in the know this spring/summer guys. |

Nice licence, we'll see you out there, 3 weeks or more yet. It takes 1 week to cross the Atlantic but over 2 weeks to get here by rail. CN sucks
Are you gonna garage it till May? |
