Just hop in the car and adjust it to your liking. There no "right" setting, nor a "new and improved" setting. Set it how you like it and be done with it. It's not rocket science and EVERYONE hears differently.

is this the same dirac system in the 2011 335 coupe? If not, what is the diff.
Also can someone explain what ppl mean by adjusting the S-volume to get rid of the muddy sound at low volume? And last, does everyone agree that if you are using ipod, you should set the eq to flat or off and remove the volume limiter. I'm a noob at this so I apologize if these questions seem basic. |

I still recommend that the S-vol setting be set at the lowest setting of 1. You are absolutely correct, the internal EQ of the iPod must be set to OFF, and the volume limited must be OFF. Its great that the OP has taken the time to post the EQ settings for everyone to use as a guide but what people need to understand is that's all it is, a guide. There is no absolute right or wrong way to tune a system. If you like what you hear, that's all that matters. If these settings get you there, that's great. If you take these settings and feel the need to tweak them a little, there's nothing wrong with that. If you come up with your own settings by listening with your own ears, even better because you know what you did to get to that point.
