Use only on factory wheels. No special disposing requirements. Out of abundance of caution, I clean the wheels on the street not the paved driveway. We have a vegetable garden tabs lots of fruit trees and I'd rather not have this absorb into the soil.

No issues for the pads, rotors, have used it for years on the 328xi, 5GT and now, the M3.
Was not recommended for my black Porsche wheels as those aren't considered OEM though they came from the factory.

Does this work for brake dust that has been baked on?

dropped off for BE Bearings + BE ARP studs to go in. Preventative since I don't know how the previous owner treated the car.

The 5GT had baked on dust (7years worth) when I first began using this product 2 years ago. I can tell you that 95% of the grime came off with the 1st application! I haven't done it more often than that but I'm sure that subsequent applications would get you closer to 100%. I hate that turbo barge and only clean its wheels annually!

Worst case scenario you scrub the rim and bring it up to snuff to then maintain with this product going forward.

Those are rated for 330nm which is for the steel hoods, our car has the 200nm struts.

Just attributed that to being new. Actually haven't driven or fully closed the car hood since putting them on.

Did they confirm it's all of them? Was there a part number ?

I have the Stabilus SG402058 also. I've driven for almost a month now with no issues while driving. However I do have to remember when I open the hood, to hold it while going up so it doesn't just spring right up with that much force.

Any downsides to that much tension? If there's any, I'm definitely trying to reach out to FCP for a replacement as well lol.

EDIT: Just looked at FCP's site and I swear when you pulled up the OEM struts, to the side it offered the Stabilus version as a recommendation. But now it's not there. Or am I tripping?

Took over to Sears, still a few left, and had them install/register a brand new battery.

All is left is Xpipe swap and reinspection and I'm ready for spring cruises now

I don't know what you mean in the first part, but they confirmed there isn't a Stabilus P/N at this time for M3 good

Yah I remember seeing that also. They probably removed it until they can get the correct part. I don't know about any downsides but I got the correct part now so no more worries

Washed it. With enough psychotherapy, you too can own an 11 year old daily driven, with no ceramic coating, no wraps, no bras, etc. that looks like this. Its garage kept, washed when dirty, and waxed with Meguires Ultimate which I credit with bringing enjoyment back to car care.

its also Silver which is the easiest color to maintain, as it doesnt show swirls and scratches as badly as darker colored cars...
