Nice!! Did the TA change / rebuild myself recently - made it a point to clean and lube the TA linkages thoroughly, that made a big difference - can see why part of the reason the TA mechanism fails being that they have to work harder..

How much did they charge you for the covers if you dont mind my asking? And did you spec anything other than color (Temp, oil resistance, coat texture etc?)

Also did you replace the bolt grommets during the change? The ones I got here seem to be a larger dia than the originals..

It looks like you have something evil like satan's lava bubbling under the otherwise innocent looking engine cover. All you have to do is push the right pedal down a bit and a volcanic eruption occurs. Nice effect

Had a coding session with the illustrious Mr Benvo to code out seats and TPMS (now, just to rip out the RDC).

Also, got my test pipes in to compliment the AA x-pipes and Eisenmann Race - finally. So, it sounds gnarly

Also, took it for a spin around the neighborhood despite the freezing temps. Here's a pic for prosperity.

Dropped her off for service... Oil filter housing gasket to fix an oil leak, coolant flush and hose replacement to fix a leak, and to put another intake vacuum elbow thing that was apparently missing. Another week, another grand. oh well, it's worth it.

Detailed Speaker Grill and replaced seat anchors with WPC treated BE Bolts as a preventive measure.

Refreshed my wheels. Couldn't handle the cleaning on the polished lips with the way that the faces meet them, so I went with a high gloss, brushed finish. That, and gloss black barrels will making cleaning off all the brake dust super simple

Cleaned up some rotor rust and used some anti-seize. First attempt I got SWS at 75MPH plus. Removed the wheels again and torqued everything down with each wheel slightly touching the ground after a very progressive star pattern wheel bolt tightening sequence using speeds 1-2 on the cordless impact with the wheels in the air. The factory BBS wheels have cut outs & holes visible from the front between the bolt holes so you know where to center the wheel on the Turner spacers which also have cut outs. This made things easy to line up. SWS 100% gone up to 100MPH.

Spacers are a different color because of the deal I got. This set of brake pads and rotors will be the last on this car.

The spacer I had on my driver side rear wheel got stuck lol, the anti seize was completely washed away

Raised the front 1/2" because suspension geometry was way out. Tried Ohlins with an equal 10 clicks out then 15 clicks out and I cannot believe how great they perform. Smooth sections of highway are extra smooth and almost feel like flight.
