Spent the night mocking up this sportster. I haven't bought a passenger side yet. According to a vendor recaro are discontinuing this line if favor of the new GT. So I might have trouble finding it's mate. I have a source of a black one and was thinking of redoing it in M stripe blue in same pattern, what do you guys think about different colored seats? Maybe a M stripe purple arm rest? It'd be a lot going on..

Run the wire for the rear under the A piller then along the roof under the rubber/headliner bringing it to the back.

Seriously though, it is really cool to experience the difference between my pre-LCI E90 with stock power vs. an LCI E92 ZCP that's tuned plus a couple bolt on engine mods. Made my Monday that much more fun

PS - seriously dig the increased low end power that your tune + mods provide. Perfect for around town driving. And, just when I thought I had reached a "stopping" point with my mod plans lmao

The old thermostat is pretty much stuck on there for good.
You need to chizzle it out of the shell cause the rubber gasket around it has turned hard over the years from the heat cycle of the coolant.
It a PITA to get out but it will come out eventually.

Congrats on the 'vert, the lux H8 180 bulbs were one of the first mods I did to my '12 E93 M3 when I picked it up about six months ago.. makes a huge difference!

Yes, I agree. Probably the hardest part of the thermostat/water pump job was getting the old tstat out of the housing. PITA for sure. But, it's better than buying a whole new housing lol

Even if you scuff up the housing it isn't a problem, the thing is machined so tight/well, the gasket doesn't even need to actually be there *jks*
