Mine is always kept at the Max line, love it!

I drove mine today in Ontario...freshly clayed, sealed, and waxed (Power Lock + Collinite 845). So far it's been a good winter, not a lot of snow, but a lot of salt.

Do you just get in there and clean the undercarriage on your M3 at home, or is it something you do at a car wash (just typing the word car wash on an M3 forum makes me cringe)

Salty roads are the devil, before I stored mine (semi stored, drive it when the weather is nice and no salt on the roads), I washed it well with CG maxiSuds II, then sealed it with CG Jetseal, including jetsealing the wheels off of the car

Personally I go to a touchless basic wash that includes the undercarriage and drive slowly as I can cause its sensor based, anytime I need to do a major wash I'd do it at home

Gotcha, that's a good idea actually, I didn't realize there are sensor based sprays out there (haven't been to a car wash in a bit).

QuickJack makes cleaning the underside of your car a snap.

I'm messing with you.

Got my wheels refinished. Chose to go a slightly darker silver than stock. Will mount up the rubber once the clear has cured. Excited for the new look!!

I was doing an inspection of the valve covers (for leaks, all good so far) under the hood today after I got home.. and noticed what looks like coolant. Will try to take in for an oil change and inspection in a week or so, but any ideas?

Installed APEX stud kit (75mm)
Polished the tips on MPE

Enjoy the pics

If the temperature is above freezing I'll just use a pressure washer and foam lance with CG soap. If it's too cold then it's best just to go to a car wash self-serve bay and spray all the salt/grime off the car and then do a spot free rinse, I don't use the car wash soap though. I fortunately have a 2-post lift in my garage, so I'll wash the undercarriage that way.

Got an alignment done, finally got rid of this weird grinding feel in my steering wheel at the same time.

Coincidentally the DCT clunk I'd get on coldstart also went away

They're apex ps-7's in satin black.. got them on close out when they quit making them. They're a little more rounded then the ec-7's. I don't think they were very popular but I like them. I think they complement the round like look/lines of the e92..
