Black E92 on VMR 710 and a big MFEST decal at Melrose Auto Detailing. There was a white M5 and a sepang bronze M6 vert. That is always the most baller spot on Melrose for cars.

Yeah, that was my car if it had Volks.

What exhaust do you have? When the car wash guys moved it I noticed it's gotta be like twice as loud as my Remus Race. Is it just mufflers or an x-pipe, too?

Sorry to be OT but I have a question about those hand wash places. If I have a wide set of wheels, let's say 11.5" in the rear , can they fit into the rail that go pass the soap tunnel?

Back on topic: Saw AW E92 with Vorsteiner lip in Ktown yesterday afternoon, you turned right onto 3rd from Western Ave. We exchanged a friendly

Today: SG E90 M3 in Hollywood around noon, looked stock.

The one on Melrose doesn't have one of those. they have 4 or 5 individual stalls where they wash the cars, then they move them to a separate area for drying, etc.

I wouldn't trust one of those rail setups with wide rims.

The place on Melrose is the only place I take my car to. I used to live a block away, now I'm 30 miles away but I still drive down there because most other 'hand wash' places suck. Unfortunately I can't wash my car at home because of stupid HOA rules.

It's like $13 for a hand wash and vacuum interior. I usually tip the guys $5 and they put in a lot of extra effort once they get to recognizing you. I used to go there every week.

I think they have a special on Tue and Thu where it's only $11 for the wash.

I have seen pretty much every kind of exotic car there. Lots of Bentleys, Rolls, Astons, Ferraris, even a black/black LP640.

+1. When they recognize and remember you, they will put in that extra effort. As for the price it is $15 and $13 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Well worth it.

I love Melrose Strip but found even a better place, closer to my house and to Valencia for you. It's in the Ralph's parking lot at the corner of Ventura and Lankershim (Lankershim exit off of the 101.) It is in the lower level of the parking lot in the North West corner. They are by far the best I have ever had, and are only $12. They also do a much better job than Melrose Strip on wheels. It is a small setup, only 4-5 guy, but I think this is a plus as they all remember me and seem to really care about the job they are doing. The guys at melrose strip seem to be beat down a bit, especially since it sold to new owners a year or so back..
