Ahh this is an old thread and I guess I'm going to bump it. Here is my introduction. I DD an alpine white E92 m3 ZCP with a borla Axle Back exhaust. Take good care of her and she takes good care of me. Love the car more than most anything. It's awesome

This weekend I finally installed the AP Racing BBK i picked up last year during Essex's Black Friday sale. It took some time and a few modifications to get them on but they work flawlessly! Here's pictures of the install:

Drove it in the snow today. Had a real hard time getting up my driveway. Damn snow came out of no where. Garage currently full of water smh. But honestly I'm just pumped I actually made it into the garage.

Looks great, but interested that you said "it took some modifications"? I thought it was a direct bolt on kit?

For the most part, yes.

For the rear rotors and calipers, you have to trim the brake shield. See picture below.

To mount the front rotors securely: the rotors by AP Racing only have three holes outside of the five for the wheel bolts. The front rotors have 3 pegs that stick out about 1/4 inch. When you hang the rotor on those pegs, there's way too much movement for my comfort level. My remedy was to hammer 2 of them flush and then reuse the stock rotor screws in order to make it more sure. In order to do that, you have to drill the holes in the rotor hub a little deeper in the front in order for those screws to mount flush when tightened. Perhaps overkill, but in my opinion, the front rotor hubs should have five predrilled holes to allow for the three pegs and reuse the two screws.

even with snow tires, my braking distance is terrible... sigh

Started mounting up the new brakes, did one corner so far and test fit both sets of wheels.

Spottech ST60 front and Stoptech ST40 rear

Volk TE37 18x9.5+22 clear with about 1/2" room to spare

APEX SM-10 18x10+25 clear with just about the amount of room

Thought I'll be able to share my successful wheel bearing and tension arm replacement but nope.

The rotor screws are 100% seized and rounded, and I don't even want to mention the ball joint of the tension arm. I feel like even if the car exploded this joint would remain welded into the spindle.

Your brakes look nice! I had an issue with my AP Racing BBK last week on the front rotors, but I drilled them out to house the stock screws. Hopefully you lost a bit of unsprung weight and are enjoying them. Thanks for the post!
