i've never seen them with burn tips, either.
Yeah, I saw this set. Kinda pricey. I'll see how the current stock tips look when I get home and install the rear diffuser.

Yep, for $300 I figured they were but they do look really good though. When I compared them with the other real CF parts that the car currently has, unless one is a CF expert it's impossible to tell them apart. Now as for durability, well that remains to be seen.

+1. But if you think those are pricey, these were the tips I considered for maybe 5 seconds but just couldn't come to terms on spending $3,000 on just exhaust tips:

$3000? Ha ha - hell, that's 8-10% of the value of most of our cars

Made a YouTube video of my new to me E92 M3 exhaust sound with OEM exhaust mod and Dinan Air Intake. My kids were recording. I was pushing on the gas.

Installed Lux angel Eyes bulbs
Installed Matte Black kidney grills.
Wiped down the interior with Sonax

Yeah, you can tell I'm in love with this thing.

With every oem mod video like this I am starting to think this is the best sounding exhaust for this car, damn. My Billy Boat doesn't sound that mean and angry, at least on a video lol.

Let me get one buzzing by. I'll have to find a place to film the video. Neighbors aren't going to appreciate me doing a buzz by.

I remember one member here refer to it as "ghetto" or something like that. To be honest, it doesn't look sexy, there's no "bragging rights" that you spent $$$ on akrapovic, MPE or whatever... For some members here, it sounds as though brand is important to them. I bet if you did a blind test of which exhaust systems sound good, more than half of the time this will win.

Yes the look of it rather sucks, especially the tiny tips - and adding some quality ones will put you near some of the cheaper aftermarket muffler price point, so it's not that cost efficient then.
On the other hand, this is basically a muffler delete if you go for a 4 pipe mod, so it does sound cool but I don't know if I would want it for a daily driver
I guess all the "branded" exhausts sound nice and are louder but still bearable on a highway with no drone. What is your experience and which mod did you go for?

Ha, what a lovely video, with the kids "told" to film. "Yeah, Im recording..doh!". OEM mod sounds good too, reminds mine have to go back at some point.

Was driving home in my M3 after working overnight and got pulled over by state patrol. Allegedly going 23 mph over the limit, on the highway right in the middle of morning rush hour traffic. That's $160 and points.

Lawyer is taking it to trial.

Replaced my >6 1/2 year old (original) battery today. Bought an OBD memory saver and plugged it in to save my settings but it somehow blew the OBD port fuse so I had to end up replacing the fuse and clear fault codes. All good now and registered the battery w/Carly.

Also bought 2 new Michelin PS 4S rear tires on eBay using the PICKUPTEN 10% code for next spring. Figured it's tough to get a 10% return on my money anywhere else ;-p
