That fitment job really looks like ass imo. Should there be that big of the gap between the trunk and the bumper?

I will look at it when the sun comes up. The photo was taken at sunset. It does look shitty and Tow Materish.

My favorite wheels too. On E92 M, I need to see them in person. From the pictures I feel that 20s look too big and 19s look too small on this chassis, maybe the step lip creates that illusion

Installing the new alternator, brake rotors and pads later today. Going to order oil from FCP since my local friend took way too long to get it.

They're just regular PSS, but I just bought this old set last summer (to be fair, the rears were toast anyways, but the fronts probably could have lasted another year or so). At VIR a couple weeks back we noticed the inside edge of every tire was showing cords. I expected some uneven wear from the alignment I have - as I have been attempting to find an alignment balance that works for both street and track - this was a little much though. Thankfully, I met someone who is super knowledgeable at VIR that weekend who earlier this week gave me some advice that I'm hoping will help lessen the severity of the inside wear on my street tires. Track tires have been wearing even after the last alignment, no more issues with outside edge wear on those... just need to figure out what will work for the street setup now. Just got a new alignment on Friday, so we'll see. My tire expense has increased dramatically since buying this car. And people wonder why I work so hard lol

They're 20s, actually. The step lip makes them look a bit smaller than full-faced 20s which look huge on our cars.

I agree, in pics even the step-lipped 20s look way too big up front. However in real life, they suit the car extremely well! I was pleasantly surprised the fit way nicer than I expected based on photos all over Google Images. Even still, if money wasn't an issue, I'd buy a set of dual stagger: 19" up front and 20" rear. That would look and fit 10000% perfectly on the E92 body.

Boy, the alternator on our cars. Taking it out is not fun. Took only a day and half to do it cause some hexagonal bolt bushing didn't wanna compress back.

Anyways; Alternator Done, Fronts Brakes n Rotors done. Debating if I should do backs now as well. Also trying to find a good time to send my car back to get the bumper repainted since the paint started peeling off. (won't be paying outta pocket for the bumper since the bodyshop offers a lifetime warranty on all their work)

Ordered an oil change kit from FCP. Going to be using LM again.

Pretty much caught up on all my maintenance, could use an alignment and wheel balance. Like stated before rear brakes.

You sure you haven't missed anything? Sounds like you refreshed the whole car based on your daily maintenance updates haha

Let's see, that stupid flutter sound is back. It sounds like my TAs are on the way out maybe that's causing it

I still want to do

Suspension Refresh
Coolant Flush
Rear Brakes
Wheel Balance
Alignment

Not much left. The alternator was something unforeseen for me. Anything I'm missing?

tbh a lot of maintenance is just preventive get it outta the way maintenance.

Rod bearings do not need break in. Drive it around the block nice, check for any noises and if all good, drive it like normal.

Washed it and took a photo this morning. My time for driving it is running out. Only insured until November 15th. Much sadness will occur once winter arrives.
