First track day with my brand new Stoptech ST60/ST40 kit. New Castrol SRF fluid, 1mm titanium shims (front only) and new Stoptech SR33 pads.

All 4 calipers showed a small amount of fluid around the bleeder screw. I'm absolutely certain that each bleeder is tight. I pushed a little bit more SRF through the front calipers at the end of the day and no bubbles at all.

Anyone else experience this? Pics attached.

Other brand calipers have bleeder screws as well, so what's different about the Stoptech's? Any other options to replace the bleeder screws?

I clearly understand that every caliper has a bleeder
And they all seem to seep out like that one way or another with hard track use
I took 5 cars to laguna with Brembo gtr, stoptech trophy, ap5000r, etc
And they all seeped out a little under the hard brake abuse that laguna offers

Now I don't know how tight you had them, but if it's brand new and leaked that bad , and you weren't balls to the wall on track, than that isn't right and I would ask stoptech

I'm just saying, I've had 4 stoptech st-60 red kits personally , and no track usage, and they all started to seep out and crinkle the paint, and they were kept in show quality condition during their life spans .

I would ask stoptech as to why it leaked so much if you had the down tight .

Can anybody give me any tips? Just did day 1 of a 2-day weekend at Thunderhill West. Running heat cycled out RS4 tires and stock suspension + camber plates + dinan front sway bar + monoballs. Lots of lean and the car slides easily. I know my turn 7 i may be overslowing and the bumps I run over are unsettling the car. Anything else pop out?

Did a quick iOS app export from waylens, so I couldn't remove the useless boost meter..

you're pretty familiar with this car and you've tracked there before. was it different?

I just don't feel like I have the track's lines nailed down, especially specific to E92 M3. Turn 7 I have a lot of difficulty figuring out what speed to enter at and angle. (turn-in)

Turn 6 I tried what my friend does in his BRZ, which is a less common line of hugging far left while most people stay more middle of the road and then turn in. It seems to avoid the cresting which upsets cars a lot, and I seem to be able to brake later. But I just don't know if these things are the right thing to do!

Turn 10 also screws me in the head, can't figure out how to enter it. Turn 3 figuring out entry speeds, I've been lifting, tap brakes for a bit, then turn in. Turn 4 screws me in the head too

Would love to get advice from other E92 M3 folks who've figured out the track better

I accidentally. The drone is worse than I expected, but at least I have a lifetime supply of earplugs.

Normal. Even my OEM Brembos do it after a fluid change. Usually stops after the second session of the day. Be sure and wipe it off as soon as you can.

Thank you. As long as it's not causing a problem with braking, I'm going to leave it alone and wipe down at the end of the day.

only looks stretched because of G forces
275s on 10" wheels square setup.

In these pics roll bar was still OE.
I'm running Hotchkis front & OE rear now

"Roll bar" I was referring to your harness bar/"roll cage" not your sway bar. lol

What is the best/better solution to prevent the PS fluid from spraying the car? I've read about the OEM 1M and Bimmerworld reservoirs... which works best?

I currently have this solution, but still ended up with a bunch of fluid on the underside of the fender liner. It was spraying out of the overflow container.

Front swaybar + camber plates + worn out tires.... I'm not surprised the car is sliding easily.

In the video, it looks like you're really attacking the corners. With what you have going on at the moment, I'd back it down a bit.

I have been cleaning up power steering fluid on M cars for the last 15 years. I don't want a sock or headband or wristband, I would like a solution so that I never have to think about it again.

I don't mind buying a new reservoir, but would like to hear feedback from some of the track junkies here which one works well/best for our cars on track.
