Here's this same setup on my car, with 5mm spacers rear, dinan front plates (-2.2 and -1.8 camber, approx) and ZCP springs. Also no rub, obviously

It really doesn’t look that different from the stock 220M setup with a front 15mm spacer. The concavity of the 8.5 and 9.5 is almost the same, the 8.5 just has a much thinner bolt center pad. And this setup has a lot more front wheel and tire width obviously

Has anyone run 18x9.5 et23 with 275/35r18 NT01 and a 5mm spacer up front, and cleared the KW clubsport spring/perch?

A clean set of 666m's just popped up locally for a very attractive price. OEM 20x9 et29 and 20x10 et40 sizing. Fronts have 265/30 4S's and rear 285/30 Super Sports.
I'd love to see them on my E90 M3, but From what I've read the front is a no-go. Still holds true? I'm really bad with offsets and such. |

The front will fit just fine, the rear will be tight. Might need to trim the bumper tab or dial in a little extra camber but it will work.

Those are pretty tall tires up front but should still clear on stock suspension

E90 non ZCP
Tires: Contintental DW Wheels: OEM 220m Suspension: Swift Springs, alignment pins removed Camber: -1.6 fronts, -1.8 rears Front 255/35 - 12.5mm spacers Rear 275/35 - 10mm spacers Front right rubs lightly on full left lock. Rear passenger did rub a bit on big dips, looks like it's rubbing on the plastic tab in the fender well Another question: would 19x9.5+30 (255/35) fronts and 19x10.5+30 (275/35) be ok? Based on my current set up, using wheel offset comparison tool found on 1010tires, I'd want 25mm offset for fronts to match my current set up. For the rears, a 30 offset would be a few mm higher (or tucked in) vs my current rear set up. So theoretically the rears should be fine without rubbing. For the fronts, I can put on a 5mm spacers to match if it rubbed on the spring I suppose, but looking for any feedback from here. |

I've waded through literally all 30 pages here and am coming to conclusion that it should be safe running 285/35-19 tires on 19x10.5/+25 rims in the rear (on an E92 w/competition pkg).
But that conclusion is based on summer tires. However, I'm putting on Michelin Alpin PA4 winter tires. Does that change anything with fitment?

M3 e93
2012 Bmw m3 e93 with coil overs, looking to fit arc-8 18s in a 9.5 and 10.5. I am thinking about going with a 265/40r18 and a 285/40r18. I was also thinking about going with a 265/35r18 and 295/35r18. I have a harrop sc so wanting to get the most grip I can. Any difference in fits with the e93 anyone knows about?

For what it's worth I'm running 18x10.5 with 265/35/18s and 18x11 with 295/30/18 Michelin Cup2 tires. The car also has a Harrop SC. Plenty of grip in 2nd gear and up. I honestly have not completely floored it in 1st but I know for a fact it's going to spin. I'm pretty low too on Bilstein B16 (Damptronic) and I have zero rubbing so far with all the driving I've done. |

Thoughts on r888r
After doing some research I want to go with r888r for my Apex arc-8 9.5 fronts and 10.5 rears. I want 265/35/18 for the fronts but the question is I want 305/35/18 for the rears but is there anyway i can make them fit? I know most go with the 295/30/18s but I really want the 305/35 so anyone with experience lmk

Awesome info here! Thanks guys.
Working on a set of Apex EC7's at 19x10 et25 / 19x10.5 et22, with 10mm spacers all around for myself. Debating between 255/35/19 front and 265/35/19 for the rear, or 265/30/19 front 275/30/19 rear, but i'm leaning towards the 35's for the more full wheel arch/meaty look. I ran some close test fitting with a set of 19x10 et24 style 95's that had 255/35/19 on them and definitely like slightly more meaty look of the 35 series tires, but my desired ride height/fitment tucks about 1/2" of that tire into the arches and pokes the wheel out of the arches the thickness of the spacers. Will post and update once they're fitted. Last edited by Robb.Deep; 01-25-2020 at 11:21 AM.. |
