The forgestars and GT4 lip are an absolute win on the E93, best platform for those two mods I think. I recall a MW E93 out in california that was running that. Looked great.

All great looking verts!!! Loved mine but it was time to jump into something more up to date and power. I only had 20,xxx miles on it but figured I would try to get some money out of it now. Loved the car just didn't drive it enough. Once the car got up and going it ran good as BMW's are good in their power band. For an 8 though no torque off the line! I had the BMW in the shop to get the airbag recall 2 weeks ago and they let me borrow a regular 4 series. I have to say I was impressed with the all around power even in the lower end.
So traded the car in for a beast of porn star!! Convertible Z06 with Z07 kit the rotors and huge with ceramic brakes! |

My dad had a C6 Z, it was an absolute monster. I can't even begin to imagine the gut punch this can provide. Congrats! Looks amazing too.

Yeah its not even broken in yet. It has paddle shifters which I wanted its no where though as a true dual clutch as I can't downshift on the stickshift like the M. I got spoiled with the smg with my e46 then with the e93 DCT which was perfect! I like though of the idea taking a phone call, drinking coffee or sitting in traffic and just switching to auto mode.
I hopefully will try to be able to get on a do a little track time but nothing too serious. It has a video performance data recorder that will record my driving and have the data overlaid on it. That will be kewl to see. With any super high performance car you have to respect it or it will break you. Here was my baby!! They have her now.. http://www.cars925.com/vehicle-detai...7304fd8cb70ef/ |

I agree with you there, and the performance data log is something that is very cool of Chevy to offer.
I remember your E93 from the FS section, always thought it was a beautiful car. |

Thanks for the compliment!! I tried to add something to the car without overdoing it!! Its not sitting at Elite cars in Concord Ca. I jumped on the vette a bit this morning on the way to work and the rear end if not respected when you step on the pedal will throw you for a whip in a heartbeat!!! I look at the regular stingrays now and say "looks so cute" lol. Even though I was gonna get one till I saw the z06

Lol it's so funny but so true. The stingrays are great for the money, but they severely lack the aggressive stance and look of the Z06 or grand sport haha.
Enjoy! |
