Sorry to hear this and like another said, sounds like its time to build up a new motor over the winter!

2013.motor is going in just had the headers ceramic coated dropping them off tomorrow. $70 Outta pocket for the headers everything else its covered lol

It couldn't be worse even if you took the oil out to ruin the engine before the warranty expired.

Sad to be going through all this but to get a 2013 motor is awesome. I would be like a new car minus the trans.

Thanks I'm happy. I live in tahoe I can't drive the car right now anyway so the down time doesn't even bother me hahaha

RenoE92M3, I know this is a very old post, however, I have a 2012 that I bought brand new and the rod bearings in the #2/6 spun. One of the bearings is more narrow than the rod surface and the other bearing that sits next to it is wider than the rod surface. I noticed what you're showing in your photos is similar. Was this part of the problem? Or is this normal to have a bearing that is not as wide as the rod and rod cap surface? BTW, I also live in the Reno area and I'm looking for some answers. Is there anyone you trust in Reno to help evaluate my motor. I'm removing it myself and I'm looking for some direction.
