i just don't get why people go to such extreme to make their car "LOOK ALIKE" the real thing; when in reality, the money they've spent can buy them the real thing.

people mod cars to be different and/or make their car look better. SOME people try to do something to their cars to imitate other cars--"LOOK ALIKE".

Holy crap, I think the OP is on to something here. What if it IS an M3 that is disguised as a slightly cosmetically modded 3 Series. During the day it is a mild mannered 3 Series, but whenever there is a crisis it will speed into a drive through carwash and change into an M3...then speed off to defend civilization from the evil minions of Dr. Audi. RS5 man with his faithful sidekick TT is the scariest. However, I'm afraid Mighty Morphing M (M3) is no match for GT-Rrrrrrrrrr.
