2009 IDrive
I personally think the 2009's IDrive is sooooo much better.
The short cut buttons are so nice. you can swith so easly between different modes. The 2008 and former Idrives are very complicated and you really have to pay a lot of attention to it rather than driving the car. I think this is the best improvement between the 2008 and 2009. Is it worth the money, well it always depends on the user. I am very much into technology and therefore think it is worth the money. Someone that is not so much into it, maybe not. What the heck, its an M3. Go have fun with the car. |

No you are wrong... in the sedan the driver side control are in fact placed closer to the driver, it is one of the few changes to the interior of the LCI.
