Tracking every month.

My E90 just went over 187k miles. Bearings were done around 109k. Likely having another set put in around 200k.

Just found and bought back my 2008 Sparkling Graphite M3 this week. Been searching for it for years and finally found it. Will post the crazy story soon.
I traded it in back in late 2017 with 89K miles and bought it back with 132K miles. Will be doing rod bearings, mounts, and general maintenance as soon as it arrives from Ohio...hopefully end of next week. |

just the usual stuff. nothing out of the ordinary.
i did replace some of the pullies and belts right from ESS in 2021. rod bearings done at about 210,000kms. TBA done at around 100k after the supercharger went on. over 160,000km / 100,000 miles on the supercharger by now. it's terrible on gas... and worth it.

111,500 miles Put right at 10k on it in a year. 1000 of that was the drive home with it. TA's done at 90k RB's done at 102k Valve covers are starting to leak. Intake, test pipes, and tune. My favorite car I've ever owned. Just wish it had about 50 more HP! My old V10 M6 had the perfect amount of power. |

2008 e90 126k miles. Been restoring it since purchasing in June of 2021 (TAs done) and finally got it detailed.
Restoration work so far: OEM steering wheel ZHP shift knob Fox red split armrest Passenger headlight ballast + bulb Battery replaced Battery tender on it Tinted a window that was previously replaced and left untinted Hood struts replaced (got tired of the hood falling on my head) Airbag bypass on passenger seat weight sensor -- always active Passenger seat belt chime bypass -- since it always thinks someone is sitting in it. New tires New plugs New drive belt idler pulley Replaced all filters & fluids Issues remaining: Rod Bearings need replaced -- I drive it easy until it warms up. Adaptive headlight error Alternator needs replaced -- clock loses minutes when not connected to the tender overnight. |
